Nautical Summer Style!

Wohoo, it's Thursday! God Bless girlies! Seeing that it's getting hot, or should I say, HOTTER...I thought it would just be fitting to let you in on my casual summer style. This is similar to what I would wear on the weekends to go out. I have a blouse similar to this one & it's also Ralph Lauren. (I got it at macy's last year for under 20 bucks). The skirt you can find at maurices.com. They are on sale right now @ 19.90 and they should fit right at the knee, if not below the knee. I have been watching the skirt for a while and they have blue, gray, black and khaki. I want all four colors ;) The shoes can be found at charlotterusse.com. They are sooo cute. I know the black & white shoes are crazy looking but if I had them I would def wear them with this outfit ...bahahahaha! Ok, let's get serious girlz! If you're more conservative, than the white sandals would be nice to wear with the blouse and skirt or maybe you could find some brown sandals. Pair the

Jupe Skirts

Hello wonderful readers, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I wanted to take time out to dedicate this post to a young girl and her clothing business, who really impressed me when I heard about her from someone I met in Florida. She told me about how someone she knew was starting a business and encouraged all the girls to like her friend's page. I told her if I could find the page I would definitely like it. The next thing I know, her page shows up because there were alot of people liking it. So, I remembered the girl from Florida, and I liked the page. I had been following the products for awhile, because I wanted to see what she had to offer. It's been about two years since I liked the page, maybe less. Nonetheless, I recently ordered 4 skirts from her. As I went to spend time with my family this weekend, her skirts were my first pick! ;)  Needless to say, I love the skirts and the vibrant colors. Although, I do not have a picture of my outfit this weekend, I do want

Maxi skirt ideas

Hola! It's friday! Well, I didn't wear this today, but I did want to give you ladies an idea of how to change around the maxi skirts. I wore the outfit on the right to work and that same night I made it into a dress to wear to church. My tuesdays and thursdays are crazy, so I typically do not have the time to pick out a whole new outfit for church. I have less than one hour between getting off work, picking up my nephew from the babysitter, and getting everyone ready for church, so I can't afford to lose time on picking a brand new outfit on these days. lol. Outfit on the right consists of an old black cardigan, with an old belt from New York and Company, some black suede pumps from Charlotte Russe, and finally the maxi skirt from KNOW STYLE. I just pulled that maxi skirt up and slipped on the rest, and OUT THE DOOR! LOL. My hair was in a bun for that outfit. The outfit on the right consists of a light teal cardigan I bought from LOVE CULTURE for like $13, a tank top

Maxi Skirt/Dress

Hello my wonderful blog readers! <3  I am one of the D's ;) from D&D's pure bliss!  Well, I want to explain the outfit below and how I came up with it. So as we all do even before we get out of bed, we start thinking about the countless possibilities in our closets.Yet we make a tornado because nothing seems to fit right Lol.  I call it our female nature. :)  This morning I knew I wanted to wear something comfortable yet girly. I recently purchased maxi skirts from a store called MY STORY, which if you have one near you, go visit!!! & I love these skirts but I didn't want to wear all of them in one week, especially the dame style! Hahahaha, so I started thinking of  making a dress out of it, and I also bought this navy cardigan from Charlotte rousse, which is of the maxi skirt material, then my navy suede heels which I had sitting in my closet for almost a year!!!  This was my chance to sport them out! ;) I had purchased the belt a VERY long ti

These shoes can be found on the Charlotte Russe website. They do have other colors and shoes are 20% off right now. These wedge sandals would be great for the summer...Plus, they're well made, fashionable, great for going out 'cause they're comfy and prices are also comfortable! Check it out!!! Hope you have a Blessed day! http://www.charlotterusse.com/product/Shoes/Wedges/Wedge-Sandals/entity/pc/2115/c/2854/sc/2857/233351.uts?colorCode=301435261_312 P.S. Hello Beautiful Ladies, As the first post, I wanted to share these long maxi skirts I found on nomorerack. They are perfect for using just to be around the house, going out to the mall, and/or even church! I bought a few from Love Culture, same cut and everything, and they are my favorite skirts, and it helps with a small bulge at the tummy area! ;) (Let's be real, it happens to everyone, especially after a meal) They have a selection of colors and the sale is only going to last until May 17th. *insider: I've been keeping a close eye on this, and they tend to extend the sale. I think they are trying to sell them all at once! lol. If this is something you like, go ahead and give it a try! Stay blessed! <3 http://www.nomorerack.com/daily_deals/view/340943-popana_super_comfy_maxi_skirt___assorted_colors
