Fashion Fall Trends 2013

Hello beautiful ladies & handsome gentlemen,  I started this post on Monday.  However, it's been an extremely busy week for me at work. At any rate, I wanted to share the new fall trends that have come out since fashion week. I am a strong believer in being modest, but I'm also a strong believer in a sense of fashion. There is a huge difference... I actually did not know about the trends until I started looking for my new black leather jacket like 2 days ago. However, I was able to welcome fall with the new trends, and no clue about fashion week trends!  For those of you who do not know when fall began, the first day of fall was last Sunday. I have shared this on our Instagram profile (@ddspurebliss), but here is the outfit I wore to welcome Fall! Chiffon beige skirt with a Charcoal Black blazer, an emerald top, and my black shiny Ann Taylor heels... Luckily, the blazer and the emerald top are two of the new fall trends for 2013, which I did not know u

INTUITION

Hello my wonderful friends! I hope everyone is doing awesome today. I am better...I have had terrible allergies this month & I got really sick but I'm much better, thanks to God & a SHOUT OUT to my hubby who took great care of me! XOXO to him!!! AND, by the way...yesterday, Thursday, September 26, 2013 was our 4 year anniversary with many many many more to come :) How exciting! Nuff about me... Let me tell you about a handy dandy razor that I use. You don't need shave gel or soap all you need is water! It is great. It leaves your skin smooth, silky and smelling fresh! Another fun fact about this razor is that some of them have cool design on them. It is the Intuition razor by Schick . If you click on the link it will take you to the Schick website where you can view the different razors that are sold. My favorite is the Intuition Naturals Sensitive Care. I have sensitive skin and it irritates quite fast so with this razor my skin is smooth and clean! ;) Schick ®

Apple, Pear, Hour Glass???

Hello wonderful readers! You girls & guys are truly the highlight of my days. :) This post will be mainly for women, but I believe it's important for males to know HOW to shop for their ladies not just WHAT to shop for. Today I want to focus on figuring out your body type, so that you or your very lucky man will know what to look for when you go shopping. I've actually had this topic on the back burner for a few weeks now. I had a friend text me and ask me about the best dress to wear for her birthday. So, my sister and I got into a long discussion about body types! lol. BUT, that's when I realized...I didn't really know my own body shape. It's fairly easy for me to see what will or will not work for different bodies, except my own. LOL. So, I asked my younger brother to look at a picture that showed all body types and asked him to tell me how my body looked to him. Secretly, we all wish we looked like an hour glass hehehehe...but he said a PEAR. lol. How

Facing Fashion ;)

Hello ladies and gentlemen, I am excited to be back! I wanted to give you all a few tips for caring for your face. It's important to care for your face like you care for your outfits! :) Lately, I have been sharing these few tips with friends and family, and I think you all would really benefit from it...YES, EVEN guys need these tips! ;)  It is very important for everyone to take time to really care for their face. I know some people suffer from different kinds of skin conditions, so be cautious with choosing your face products.  I tend to have a semi-oily face with some acne here and there. Usually, I only get acne when I eat peanut butter and chocolate (they say chocolate doesn't cause acne, but in my case there is a STRONG correlation. UNFORTUNATELY because I'm a chocolate LOVER). So these would be great tips for anyone with my skin type. However, it is recommended for EVERYONE to clean, tone, & moisturize. I use the following for my morning routine:

One 'N Only

Good day my peeps! Hope everyone is doing good today. Happy Friday! YAY! So, I wanted to share some good news... there is a new member to the family: my hair straightener, of course :) you silly beans! Gotcha! One 'n Only Brazilian Tech Keratin Flat Iron@ Sally Beauty Supply Stores I wanted to try the In Styler really bad so my wonderful husband bought me the Wet to Dry In Styler last week. I was so excited that I tried it the next day with my hair pretty damp. Let's face it, we know that it's not good to use a flat iron on wet hair because it causes more damage. Nonetheless, I tried it! I didn't like it at ALL! NO! NO! NO! My hair was not straight and it was frizzy like never before. I returned it about 2 days later. I guess the In Styler works better on dry hair and even better if you want to style it with curls-or what not. My hair is thick and very wavy and already very frizzy so this In Styler made it so much worse. Think of the movies where a girl is ele
