Maxi skirt ideas

Hola!
It's friday! Well, I didn't wear this today, but I did want to give you ladies an idea of how to change around the maxi skirts. I wore the outfit on the right to work and that same night I made it into a dress to wear to church. My tuesdays and thursdays are crazy, so I typically do not have the time to pick out a whole new outfit for church. I have less than one hour between getting off work, picking up my nephew from the babysitter, and getting everyone ready for church, so I can't afford to lose time on picking a brand new outfit on these days. lol.

Outfit on the right consists of an old black cardigan, with an old belt from New York and Company, some black suede pumps from Charlotte Russe, and finally the maxi skirt from KNOW STYLE. I just pulled that maxi skirt up and slipped on the rest, and OUT THE DOOR! LOL. My hair was in a bun for that outfit.

The outfit on the right consists of a light teal cardigan I bought from LOVE CULTURE for like $13, a tank top from FOREVER 21 $2.80, old sandals with a few teal jewels on them, and the same maxi skirt from KNOW STYLE, which I bought for like $14. I wore my hair in a ponytail for work...I'm not a fan of my hair being too much in my way during work hours.

A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do, right? ;) Well, if you come up with any more creative ideas on how to wear a maxi skirt, send me your pics and I'll blog about you! :) Have a blessed day!

Love,
D <3

I do and it's such a shame I only have one :(  I think writing about them will make me feel much better...bahaha! Looking thru the Shoedazzle website, I found that there were nice watches on the website.  Shoedazzle watches  is the link if you would like to look at them AND they aren't too expensive. However, if the link doesn't work please sign up. It is free and you only pay when buying :) (U know what?- all these stores/websites need to pay us for advertising!...I'm gonna look into that :D)!  I don't know what your style is but I really like the watches below and I would love to have all the colors there are because then I could always match...YEAH! muhahaha!  Hope you liked this po...

Feelin' Blue?

Hi loves,  I was feeling a little "blue" today, so I thought I would get in touch with a little bit of my happiness...YOU LOVELY PEOPLE & FASHION.  This photo shoot took place about a month ago, but it just happened to be convenient for today. hehehe.  While this color of blue is a very much used during the spring time, I am a firm believer colors are meant to be worn at all times. It just take a little more effort to "make it work."  As I've stated before, these are my favorite heels. So, please excuse them for appearing more than once. LOL. They just love to be seen! jk. At any rate, you can always change an outfit by changing one simple thing about it. As you will see in the next set of pictures, a simple yet loud closed toe pump really does change the look.  The closed toed pump really matures the look. For example, I would totally wear this to work with a closed-toe pump (let's be real...I would wear either loo...

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...
