Dressed to Refashion

Welcome back loves!  I hope you're making it this Wednesday...does the week seem to be dragging to you? I feel like the weekend/rest can't come soon enough. Today I wanted to focus on a style of fashion that many people fear to dive into...simple yet bold. As much as I love being 'dolled' up, there are days when I just want to be comfortable. LOL. All of us have those moments, if you don't then you might need to take one of those days.  However, I needed it to be simple yet bold. As you see in these picture (thanks to my sister again! ;)), I picked red to be my bold color. Then, I layered it with a leather brown jacket, and some comfortable combat boots. I wanted to give it some what of an edgy/military feel, which came together nicely with the girly dress.   So, ladies, while it's ok for us to have slack days, just keep in mind you can always still make it look cute. You can certainly replace the boots for flats or sandals...

SexyModest Boutique ... (It's not what you think.)

Beautiful Thursday my loves, As promised I am catching up on all of the posts that I've wanted to post for like a month now. lol. I will be heading to Florida this weekend, so I may not be able to post over the weekend. :/ At any rate, I'm here now! :) So I was looking around for more sites to recommend that has modest clothing. As much as I love Charlotte Russe, Forever 21, H&M, etc, there are other smaller boutiques with amazing clothing. My sister sent me a pin on pinterest with a modest trick for short dresses, and that's how I stumbled across this website SexyModest Boutique . When I saw the name I was kind of like O.o, but I gave it the benefit of a doubt & I was pleasantly satisfied. They have GREAT options for modest clothing! I've seen many smaller boutique website, and I can't really say they were GREAT. However, I LOVE this boutique. The clothes isn't as inexpensive as Forever21 or Charlotte Russe, but I do think it's worth an inve...

Maxi skirt ideas

Hola! It's friday! Well, I didn't wear this today, but I did want to give you ladies an idea of how to change around the maxi skirts. I wore the outfit on the right to work and that same night I made it into a dress to wear to church. I have less than one hour between getting off work, picking up my nephew from the babysitter, and getting everyone ready for church, so I can't afford to lose time on picking a brand new outfit on these days. lol. Outfit on the right consists of an old black cardigan, with an old belt from New York and Company, some black suede pumps from Charlotte Russe, and finally the maxi skirt from KNOW STYLE. I just pulled that maxi skirt up and slipped on the rest, and OUT THE DOOR! LOL. My hair was in a bun for that outfit. The outfit on the right consists of a light teal cardigan I bought from LOVE CULTURE for like $13, a tank top ...
