Trendy yet Modest: Charlotte Russe

HAPPY THURSDAY LOVELY READERS! (1 day closer to Friday!!)

I hope you are all having a lovely day. You guys have been on my mind lately. ;) Yes, I often think about updating my readers.

I will be traveling again in May, so you know I had to invest in a few new pieces. LOL. While I was looking at some things for myself, I found some interesting trendy pieces that I thought you ladies would love (guys, give me a few days...I'm working on one for you).

If you're familiar with our blog, you know how much we love Charlotte Russe. LOL. All of these pieces are beautiful, but please remember always pick something that WORKS FOR YOU! We all have different body shapes~.

SKIRTS:

(This light peach is to die for! Perfect color for Easter. Make sure you read your measurements on length and waist!)

(The floral and tribal prints are HUGE this season, but there are also many many other maxi skirts available. This is the PERFECT time to invest in skirts! Get them while they are affordable and cute!)

 DRESSES:

(This dress doesn't necessarily fall under any trendy category, but I love the small lace detail on the shoulders and the contrast in colors! So, I guess it could fall under the white trend.) ;)

BLOUSES:

(So whoever said that ORANGE is the new BLACK...is...CORRECT! But only for a season. LOL) Yes, these look more peach, but orange is totally in. Not sure if I would look right in Orange, but I do love the style of these blouses!)
HEELS (!!!): No need to explain much on these beauties! hehehehehe.

(The first 4 heels are very particular in that...only very narrowed feet ladies would be able to wear something of this style. You could try to pull off the first 2, but that would be pushing it-especially the black one- if you have a wider foot).

(I think these shoes just explain for themselves. ;) I know you ladies will love these! LOL. All very beautiful pieces. )

 BAGS:

(So I know they have a variety of bags, but I wanted to feature this ONE FRINGE bag that wasn't too bad once I saw it on the model. You could definitely pull this off with a very BOHO look.)

NOTE***these are not the only pieces offered at Charlotte Russe, but they are pieces I picked out because they were of interest to me. Visit their website www.charlotterusse.com for more of their products!

HAPPY SHOPPING LADIES & GENTLEMEN (who want to treat their ladies to something special)!

Love,
Dayse

NuMe's Lustrum - Curling Iron set

Good Morning lovely ladies, As you ladies might already know, I am a fan of curls. One of my favorite beauty gurus just announced a discount you can get on the NuMe curling iron set ( Lustrum ). So, I wanted to inform you ladies of how to get it for almost half the price. It's original price is $205.00. (I would never pay that for hair products. LOL). Lucky for you, one of my favorite gurus gives $100 discount on it by using the code ShirleyCurls . In addition, here is a website that gives you other coupons that you could use towards the curling iron set or just one curling iron if you'd like.  http://www.retailmenot.com/view/numeproducts.com?c=6392739.  I just purchased mine for $89!!! Hustler at it's best. NuMe sent me an additional 10% special, so that's why I was able to get it for that price. I have seen many reviews on this set, and I'm so excited to finally try a NuMe product. So take advantage now! :) I hope you enjoy this great d...

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...

"Curly" Straws beautify! :)

Happy Thursday loves, I'm really exhausted today, but I thought one thing would cheer me up...BLOGGING! :) So thanks to the fabulous Divas in my life who research just as much as I do about fashion, here is another trick for your hair. Curls! These are really tight curls, but there are many other tutorials to show you how to loosen them. You will need the following items to accomplish this look: STRAWS, Bobby pins ,  & maybe some hairspray. Yes, you read correctly...Straws! (^.^) No curling iron, no flat iron, no heat...all natural. hehehehe. My older sister actually used this trick on her daughters hair, which is long a beautiful, and it was adorable! Cheap way to make curls...I think it's a WINNER! They really do come out beautiful. Personally, I haven't tried it yet...probably because I'll need a WHOLE BUNCH of straws for my hair, but I think it's worth trying. I'll let you know how mine turn out & feel free to let us know your results ...
