Cloud Sandals + Life UPDATE!

Wow. Yeah, I'm so slack. I left you guys on a cliff hanger for sure. I have not left...I just went through a terrible storm, and the sky has finally begun to clear again. If you are a follower my other blog "The Life of Dayse" , then you already know the updates. However, I don't want to rehash that on this blog. At least, not right now...BUT. I will share one of the most interesting shoes that I've come to LOVE!  Okay, so I am not the fashion police, let's start there. I've also matured with age. Age brings many things and expectations, especially when it comes to comfort and style. Since the pandemic, we've all been shut away.  A lot of us became comfortable in pajamas and slides, let's be honest. We didn't care much about dressing up! At least I didn't! PJ'S all day! LOL!  Recently, I noticed my slides that I heavily depended on the last two years needed a serious update. They were becoming uncomfortable to wear all day. Ladies, let...

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...

My Sunshine State

Hello Loves, It's me! So sorry for my absence these past few weeks, but, as promised, I have some news for you ladies and gentlemen. No I'm not getting married... no I'm not having a baby... and no I'm not in a relationship. LOL. (single, but not ready to mingle. hahaha) I have moved to FLORIDA!   Yes, some of you guessed it! For those of you who saw my constant trips to Florida, it was only natural for me to be here. HAHAHA. Indigo, you guessed it...I am having a wonderful time getting to know (like, really know) the different areas around me. Orlando is the closest major city to me, and it has been very interesting getting to know new people and new places. Not only am I ready for this move, I am also looking forward to being more present on the blog. I have appreciated all of the support from my readers, and I hope to meet all of those in Florida very soon! If you're wondering about the outfit, since this is a FASHION blog, I already owned the s...

Polished Modesty & GIVEAWAY! ***Details at the end of post!***

Hello Lovely Ladies, I'm glad to be able to get a few minutes from my extremely busy schedule. A while ago (when the heat started to kick in), I decided to put together an outfit full of color! Luckily, a long sleeve was still bearable at that time. I would not wear it now. LOL. It's too hot in the South for all of that! At any rate, I wanted to go for a subtle high-waisted tea cup type skirt (a bold color, I know), a contrasting top (white long sleeve), a belt with gold detail & nude shoes with gold details in them.     As for my accessories, I paired it with my Jessica Simpson sunglasses that have white and gold detail on the sides, a justFab black back with gold detailing, my favorite rings, and my small fan from Puerto Rico (which came in handy) ;).  Walking down this path with a big bag and heels was no easy task. LOL. It took several snaps to get the right shot. LOL.        ...

Color Contrast: B&W

Happy Friday Ladies!  As promised, I wanted to focus this post featuring some of our own "local" ladies, who gave us their interpretation of the contrast of color - specifically Black and White.  To many people think these colors may seem very plain, but when you really put your own style into the concept you can really change the look. A simple look can be dressed up in many ways!  Let's take our beautiful Lena Jimenez . While her outfit is Black & White, the flared out textured skirt, ankle-strap pumps, & THE HAIR <3 all make this look so Fab! I love love love the hair! She kept it very young, but classy. Thank you love!!  Thank you to Alexchia for putting together this wonderful ensemble to give us an idea of how to mix up the concept of Black & White. She paired up a simple black blouse with a striped skirt, and two-toned ankle-pumps! I do love gold-details on shoes as well, so that's a plus for me!  From...

Throwback Thursday

Hello Ladies, I hope all of you are getting very excited for this upcoming weekend! I am so ready to just...relax as much as possible. You know that "beauty sleep?" Yeah...that's very much needed by me. LOL. Since today is officially "throwback Thursday," I wanted to give this blog a throwback. My blog has been up and running since 2013, and it's been a wonderful time. Many changes have occurred since then, but I'm glad everything took it's own course. ;) Life builds us in many ways...so enjoy, laugh, giggle, or do whatever at these "Throwback Thursday" pictures/outfits! :) lol. Have a wonderful Thursday, and I thank everyone who has been part of this change in my life. You have all been wonderful and I couldn't be happier knowing that I have found something unexpectedly awesome of interest.  Just one more day until the weekend! Hang in there loves! Be b...
