My Sunshine State

Hello Loves, It's me! So sorry for my absence these past few weeks, but, as promised, I have some news for you ladies and gentlemen. No I'm not getting married... no I'm not having a baby... and no I'm not in a relationship. LOL. (single, but not ready to mingle. hahaha) I have moved to FLORIDA!   Yes, some of you guessed it! For those of you who saw my constant trips to Florida, it was only natural for me to be here. HAHAHA. Indigo, you guessed it...I am having a wonderful time getting to know (like, really know) the different areas around me. Orlando is the closest major city to me, and it has been very interesting getting to know new people and new places. Not only am I ready for this move, I am also looking forward to being more present on the blog. I have appreciated all of the support from my readers, and I hope to meet all of those in Florida very soon! If you're wondering about the outfit, since this is a FASHION blog, I already owned the s...

Style of Sophistication

Greetings to all of you lovely gentlemen, While today is not my best day this week, I thought to myself, "what better than show my readers a little love?" & maybe a little bit of an Easter Sunday outfit inspiration.  Although, this was taken before Easter, it can still jog your mind for ideas on putting together a special outfit for that special day! Most of us will be in the house of the Lord, so get your church look on! lol.  Thank you to my little man David and his dad Josh for being models for this post. I also included my sister for the ladies. ;) Two birds with one stone, right? lol.  Let's begin with little David. He's wearing a stripped blazer on top of a plain white button-up shirt and topped with a bow tie. His jean pants dress it down a bit, but not too much. Then he (better yet said...his mommy) finished the look with some navy casual shoes. He was still tons of sophistication, full of spring colors, and comfortable all at the same tim...

Coveted Class: Modest Photoshoot

Hello my loves,  Thank you for being so patient with me! As some of you know, I did a photo shoot about a month or so ago, and I wanted to give you ladies another outfit inspiration. This is more of a very light-weight comfortable yet classy outfit. It's great for the office or church. The top is a beige chiffon material with a bow (attached to the shirt), and a few layers on the shoulder area. The skirt is high-waisted and of a silky material. It's almost see through, so I took caution to wear something underneath. ;) You ladies catch my drift. lol.  Then I finished the look with my bag from (Justfab, thank you my little sister for the gift), and beige shoes with gold accent on the heel of the shoe.   I also added a leather beige jacket, since it was still very chilly at the time. ;) lol Thank you so much to my niece, who was "shadowing"/assistant for the day, and my sister Joann for the photos! I ...

Baby Vogue

Hi Loves, I am glad to be back. There have been quite a lot of changes, so I'm catching up on actually posting on the blog. It's so crazy how quickly things are picking up, but I did want to brighten your day with one of the best models that I have encountered over the past 2 years...my adorable little guy (nephew), David. Some of you may have a little brother, nephew, son, or friends that you would like to spoil with a cute outfit. In this post, David is wearing a white button up layered with a pastel yellow vest, blue pants, and some navy dress shoes. "Somebody call baby Vogue." hehehe. Most of us love to see small kids in adorable outfits, so I hope this inspires you for future outfits! ;) Thank you so my little man for being such a great sport & his mommy for always being supportive. Love them both very much! <3 ***excuse the toys/sticks, but I wouldn't get my shots without them. LOL.               ...

Maxi skirt ideas

Hola! It's friday! Well, I didn't wear this today, but I did want to give you ladies an idea of how to change around the maxi skirts. I wore the outfit on the right to work and that same night I made it into a dress to wear to church. My tuesdays and thursdays are crazy, so I typically do not have the time to pick out a whole new outfit for church. I have less than one hour between getting off work, picking up my nephew from the babysitter, and getting everyone ready for church, so I can't afford to lose time on picking a brand new outfit on these days. lol. Outfit on the right consists of an old black cardigan, with an old belt from New York and Company, some black suede pumps from Charlotte Russe, and finally the maxi skirt from KNOW STYLE. I just pulled that maxi skirt up and slipped on the rest, and OUT THE DOOR! LOL. My hair was in a bun for that outfit. The outfit on the right consists of a light teal cardigan I bought from LOVE CULTURE for like $13, a tank top ...
