Lovely Wednesday! Who's ready for this week to be over?! Me! I think I'm borderline sick today. However, we can't mentally/physically be done with this week just yet. I've got another post for you! ;) If you haven't noticed by now...I LOVE COLOR. <3 When I'm working with a loud print like the skirt below, I like to pick 1-2 colors to STAND OUT. While I love being a vast array of colors, I love to tame it, but I like to be unique. Funny Story: someone once told me busy prints make a female look bigger. I'm sorry, but I will slay a print. I'm not sure if she was trying to tell me something, but I'm going to act like her comment never happened. LOL. jk. People, don't be scared of print, no matter what anyone thinks.  My recommendation would be to pick one of the many colors when working with a loud small print and run with it & for my curvy ladies...STAND TALL and proud! HI LOVES,  I hope each of you are enjoying your Memorial Day. I'd like to take a moment to remember and thank all of our brave soldiers, who have sacrificed their lives for our country.  We live in a country, where we are free to express who we are. In my case, I like to express myself through beauty, fashion, writing, art, etc. I'd like to think of this outfit as very patriotic (minus the hot pink, but what a great color to add to our flag, right? LOL, jk).  I did not plan this outfit on purpose. I did this photo shoot about a month ago, and I finally got around to making all of my edits (come one, we all do it. LOL). My sister and I decided to do this photoshoot in downtown Ocala, which has very interesting spots. I had a lot of fun climbing building stairwells in heels. HAHAHA. I tend of laugh/smile a lot when I'm super nervous or scared. So, you can call this my scared smile. LOL. We had a couple of life-threatening moments on this particular building...

OMG, LADIES...have I got good news for you!!! One of my favorite beauty bloggers recently went shoe shopping. I was casually watching her videos like I always do, but this time was different. She was doing a shoe haul. Sometimes, I say they are ok, other times they just don't catch my attention. Honey, when I saw her first pair, I dropped everything. I fell in love & my readers know that when I fall in love, I fall hard. As in...I need them in my life ASAP. Unfortunately, when I went to the site, & they were sold out in my size!!! Welcome back loves!  I hope you're making it this Wednesday...does the week seem to be dragging to you? I feel like the weekend/rest can't come soon enough. Today I wanted to focus on a style of fashion that many people fear to dive into...simple yet bold. As much as I love being 'dolled' up, there are days when I just want to be comfortable. LOL. All of us have those moments, if you don't then you might need to take one of those days.  However, I needed it to be simple yet bold. As you see in these picture (thanks to my sister again! ;)), I picked red to be my bold color. Then, I layered it with a leather brown jacket, and some comfortable combat boots. I wanted to give it some what of an edgy/military feel, which came together nicely with the girly dress.   So, ladies, while it's ok for us to have slack days, just keep in mind you can always still make it look cute. You can certainly replace the boots for flats or sandals...

Hello to all of our male readers. I know it has been a very cold winter for a lot of us, so I want to make sure our gentlemen will be very warm and handsome this winter. Our men can't get sick...who would take care of us when we're sick? Well, I would have to take care of myself. LOL, but there are a few of you who are fortunate to have that great guy by your side. God Bless Everyone! Hope everyone is doing well. I saw where D asked everyone to keep me in their prayers a few weeks ago. Thank you so much for your prayers....I lost my grandma a month ago today! It hit me pretty hard especially because she lived in Guatemala and I really wanted to go see her one last time :( Unfortunately only my dad could go (it was his mom who passed away). So far I'm doing good...praying to God for strength :) The most amazing thing about this; though, is that she invited Christ into her heart as her Savior before leaving this earth.
