STAND tall, & STAND out!

Lovely Wednesday!

Who's ready for this week to be over?! Me! I think I'm borderline sick today. However, we can't mentally/physically be done with this week just yet. I've got another post for you! ;)

If you haven't noticed by now...I LOVE COLOR. <3 When I'm working with a loud print like the skirt below, I like to pick 1-2 colors to STAND OUT. While I love being a vast array of colors, I love to tame it, but I like to be unique.

Funny Story: someone once told me busy prints make a female look bigger. I'm sorry, but I will slay a print. I'm not sure if she was trying to tell me something, but I'm going to act like her comment never happened. LOL. jk. People, don't be scared of print, no matter what anyone thinks.

My recommendation would be to pick one of the many colors when working with a loud small print and run with it & for my curvy ladies...STAND TALL and proud! Most of all, work it!

Thank you for all of your love & support! I hope this helps you ladies and stay tuned for more posts on how to find modest clothing. God bless you! Also, a huge thank you to my wonderful sister for handling all of the photography & directing my poses. You're the best! <3

Thanksgiving: CHECK ...now, Christmas!

Hello my dear readers, I'm so sorry I've been so ghost on all of you! Huge thanks to D2 for keeping you guys updated. :D I have been crazy trying to travel for Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping for a family that my job adopted, and trying to continue planning my upcoming trip to NY...last but not least work. :/ hehehe. At any rate, I know everyone is getting ready to spend quality time with their families over the holidays as well as giving wonderful gifts from the heart. I'm more of a giver than a receiver. I love to think my heart was constructed under the blue print of the heart of Jesus...always giving out of love. I am not saying Christmas should be about gifts, but it's always nice when I can make someone else smile. Definitely take this time to appreciate your loved ones and spend the time that you've missed with them throughout the year. ...AND if you have some EXTRA time on your hands, feel free to reach out to those in real need. We are too blessed ...

Shoedazzle Review! Shoes have arrived!

Hello lovely people, You will have so much fun with this post today. lol. I hope all of you are having a wonderful week. I'm still dealing with headaches...& I think it's about that time to visit a doctor. Anyway, about 2 weeks ago, I informed some of you through our Facebook page about the sale going on at Shoedazzle.com. You know me...I'm always up for a good deal. So, I took part of this Shoedazzle buy 1 bootie, get a shoe for free. I purchased a black bootie, which I love... except the toe looks funny. I thought it was more round toe shaped but it's actually kind of pointy. I have no problem with pointy, so I'm fine with it. They were full price when I purchased them, now they are half price, and they have a beautiful maroon color. If you're interested, visit SHOEDAZZLE! Btw, their shoes have a freshly made smell when you buy them from Shoedazzle, I loved it!!! LOL, yes I'm weird like that...Anyway, here they are: (Sorry about the small pics, b...

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...
