Color Contrast: B&W

Happy Friday Ladies!

As promised, I wanted to focus this post featuring some of our own "local" ladies, who gave us their interpretation of the contrast of color - specifically Black and White.

To many people think these colors may seem very plain, but when you really put your own style into the concept you can really change the look. A simple look can be dressed up in many ways!

Let's take our beautiful Lena Jimenez. While her outfit is Black & White, the flared out textured skirt, ankle-strap pumps, & THE HAIR <3 all make this look so Fab! I love love love the hair! She kept it very young, but classy. Thank you love!!

Thank you to Alexchia for putting together this wonderful ensemble to give us an idea of how to mix up the concept of Black & White. She paired up a simple black blouse with a striped skirt, and two-toned ankle-pumps! I do love gold-details on shoes as well, so that's a plus for me!

From Brooklyn, let's give it up for Vanessa Rodriguez. ;) She gave us 3 different interpretations of her concept of contrast in black & white. She shows us how you can dress up a black and white dress with throwing on a blazer. The look on the left is very casual yet dressy enough to take to church on a weekday! :)

As we all know the color contour of this dress really defines her figure (without doing too much) and gives her a flattering silhouette. Thanks doll!

Last but not least, our lovely Aileen Rivera Isales! You know I can't forget my Florida ladies! Now, you ladies know as much as I love simple colors, I die for a pop of color! LOL. This combination was just gorgeous. The small detail of color in the blouse, the leather skirt & the gold-toed red pumps...just lovely!

So ladies, don't be afraid to dive into solid colors or black & white, because there is so much you can do with this combination! I want to thank our beautiful models, who took the time to give us examples of how they would dress in black and white. I hope this can serve as the beginning of an idea for your next outfit! ;)

Thank you ladies so much, you are all wonderful!!! Have a wonderful weekend!
God bless,
Dayse

Thanksgiving: CHECK ...now, Christmas!

Hello my dear readers, I'm so sorry I've been so ghost on all of you! Huge thanks to D2 for keeping you guys updated. :D I have been crazy trying to travel for Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping for a family that my job adopted, and trying to continue planning my upcoming trip to NY...last but not least work. :/ hehehe. At any rate, I know everyone is getting ready to spend quality time with their families over the holidays as well as giving wonderful gifts from the heart. I'm more of a giver than a receiver. I love to think my heart was constructed under the blue print of the heart of Jesus...always giving out of love. I am not saying Christmas should be about gifts, but it's always nice when I can make someone else smile. Definitely take this time to appreciate your loved ones and spend the time that you've missed with them throughout the year. ...AND if you have some EXTRA time on your hands, feel free to reach out to those in real need. We are too blessed ...

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...

"Curly" Straws beautify! :)

Happy Thursday loves, I'm really exhausted today, but I thought one thing would cheer me up...BLOGGING! :) So thanks to the fabulous Divas in my life who research just as much as I do about fashion, here is another trick for your hair. Curls! These are really tight curls, but there are many other tutorials to show you how to loosen them. You will need the following items to accomplish this look: STRAWS, Bobby pins ,  & maybe some hairspray. Yes, you read correctly...Straws! (^.^) No curling iron, no flat iron, no heat...all natural. hehehehe. My older sister actually used this trick on her daughters hair, which is long a beautiful, and it was adorable! Cheap way to make curls...I think it's a WINNER! They really do come out beautiful. Personally, I haven't tried it yet...probably because I'll need a WHOLE BUNCH of straws for my hair, but I think it's worth trying. I'll let you know how mine turn out & feel free to let us know your results ...
