Lucas and I will be on VACA for the next week! ;)

Dear lovely readers,

I wanted to keep all of you updated on the most recent changes. I haven't posted much because I've been packing to go on VACA! :) However, I wanted to tell you about Lucas! <3 So, I was getting ready to pack this week, but I needed a new friend to carry my heels, outfits, hair products, belts, etc. So I went to TJMAXX and ROSS looking for the perfect fit. My friend couldn't be just any old friend, he had to be the right size. You know...strong, durable, and handsome! ;)

Jessica Simpson tried to become BFFS by becoming a candidate with many other accessories, but I didn't think the quality was well made and she had a few scratch marks on her, which indicated she had been waiting to befriend someone for awhile. So, I went online to look at her reviews....unfortunately, Jessica was not highly recommended. After reviewing all of the candidates, I made my decision to pick Lucas from TJMAXX. Mainly because of his big strong muscular shape and the quality of his strength.

I fell in love with him, and we will be heading out tonight to Charleston for a wonderful 4th of July. I'm sure he will keep my treasures safe and sound on this rainy day! Then on July 5th we will be flying out of Jacksonville to Puerto Rico! We won't be sitting near each other on the flight, but I trust him with my possessions. Oh I forgot to mention he's trust worthy & has had nothing but great reviews! ;)

I would like to point out reviews are very necessary, positive and negative. Especially for shoppers like us! So ladies and gentlemen, I'm happy to introduce you to LUCAS! <3

P.S. The adorable friend on top of LUCAS is one I purchased awhile back is from TJMAXX, her name is Betsey Johnson! I love her and she even has a matching wallet, which you know I had to purchase as well. I know I'm horrible! lol.

I may be gone but do not worry I trust the other D will definitely have fun posting! ;) I'll let you all know what I find in Puerto Rico! Be blessed!Have a wonderful 4th of July everyone! Thanks for reading! <3

Love,
D

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...

"Curly" Straws beautify! :)

Happy Thursday loves, I'm really exhausted today, but I thought one thing would cheer me up...BLOGGING! :) So thanks to the fabulous Divas in my life who research just as much as I do about fashion, here is another trick for your hair. Curls! These are really tight curls, but there are many other tutorials to show you how to loosen them. You will need the following items to accomplish this look: STRAWS, Bobby pins ,  & maybe some hairspray. Yes, you read correctly...Straws! (^.^) No curling iron, no flat iron, no heat...all natural. hehehehe. My older sister actually used this trick on her daughters hair, which is long a beautiful, and it was adorable! Cheap way to make curls...I think it's a WINNER! They really do come out beautiful. Personally, I haven't tried it yet...probably because I'll need a WHOLE BUNCH of straws for my hair, but I think it's worth trying. I'll let you know how mine turn out & feel free to let us know your results ...

Quick Lil Tips

Hi! God Bless Everyone! Hope all is well! Remember back a few months when I told you about the uses for Coconut Oil?! Coconut Oil as Face Moisturizer Well, I tried the coconut oil and I tried it on my face as a moisturizer. It works very well with my skin. My skin is oily so I thought my face was going to look like straight up oil BUT it didn't ;) Also, I had a few bumps around my nose/upper lip area because I went and got it waxed along with my eyebrows and chin LOL! Obviously my skin is not made for that so I won't be doing that again...well, I won't be waxing near my nose/lip area... NO NO NO! Because it has anti-fungal, anti-viral and anti-bacterial functions I decided to try it out around the nose/lip area and guess what? That allergic reaction I had to the waxing is gone :) YAY! I also use a topical cream on my face that dries my skin out but because I use the Coconot Oil on my face, my face doesn't peel anymore! Another thing I noticed about using coconut ...
