NIKE Sneakers

Hi again Ladies!
I'm sorry that it took about a week to post.
I hope everyone is doing good and ready for the weekend. I am ready for sure! So, I was looking online for sneakers. My hubby is ALL about Nike (especially the Shox) and I tried on some Nike Shox but they aren't made for my feet. They are a little wide from the front and so my foot looks much more wide than it already is, bahaha. (n-e way, I look better in heels LMBO). Nevertheles, I looked on the Nike website and I found some cute sneakers. Here they are. I know that not all girls are girlie and not all girls are sporty but ALL girls have fashion sense, right?! We know what looks good on us. We don't need people to tell us...ok, I admit...sometimes we do :( But we end up looking goooood anyway :)
Maybe, just maybe, I'll go looking for these shoes somewhere and try them on to see how they fit and look because I'm very picky with sneakers. I always think they look funny but maybe it's because I'm so used to heels. Do you feel that way sometimes? Plus, I'm about 5'4" or 5'5" so I would totally feel short with these on LOL!
Take care my friends! Thank you for reading and stay tuned for more!
God Bless!
Love,
D2

Jesus change my life! How can I possibly say thank you enough with each prayer? Words are not enough! Daily I pray to please Him in all I do. The purpose of "Flowers & Verses" board is to positively influence "someone" to come to know Jesus or to draw closer to Him. Lord, may that be so. / JO of simplysharingandserving.weebly.com

Thanksgiving: CHECK ...now, Christmas!

Hello my dear readers, I'm so sorry I've been so ghost on all of you! Huge thanks to D2 for keeping you guys updated. :D I have been crazy trying to travel for Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping for a family that my job adopted, and trying to continue planning my upcoming trip to NY...last but not least work. :/ hehehe. At any rate, I know everyone is getting ready to spend quality time with their families over the holidays as well as giving wonderful gifts from the heart. I'm more of a giver than a receiver. I love to think my heart was constructed under the blue print of the heart of Jesus...always giving out of love. I am not saying Christmas should be about gifts, but it's always nice when I can make someone else smile. Definitely take this time to appreciate your loved ones and spend the time that you've missed with them throughout the year. ...AND if you have some EXTRA time on your hands, feel free to reach out to those in real need. We are too blessed ...

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...

"Curly" Straws beautify! :)

Happy Thursday loves, I'm really exhausted today, but I thought one thing would cheer me up...BLOGGING! :) So thanks to the fabulous Divas in my life who research just as much as I do about fashion, here is another trick for your hair. Curls! These are really tight curls, but there are many other tutorials to show you how to loosen them. You will need the following items to accomplish this look: STRAWS, Bobby pins ,  & maybe some hairspray. Yes, you read correctly...Straws! (^.^) No curling iron, no flat iron, no heat...all natural. hehehehe. My older sister actually used this trick on her daughters hair, which is long a beautiful, and it was adorable! Cheap way to make curls...I think it's a WINNER! They really do come out beautiful. Personally, I haven't tried it yet...probably because I'll need a WHOLE BUNCH of straws for my hair, but I think it's worth trying. I'll let you know how mine turn out & feel free to let us know your results ...
