An itsy bitsy yellow polka dot...

Hello loves,

Happy Friday! I hope you all are having a wonderful day. I completely agree with the second D's opinion on those "trendy" heels. lol. These designs are a mess sometimes. However, I want to focus a little more on trends...more positive I promise! hehehe ;)

One day, my sister-in-law sent me a message with a video attached. She thought it would be a great source to share with all of you ladies and gentlemen. I watched it, and I have much respect for this Jessica Ray, who speaks on M-O-D-E-S-T-Y. I know many people may say it's old fashioned, but just take a few minutes to actually listen to the studies performed to prove how modesty does or does not effect the way men think about women. Her words are very powerful. This might actually change some of your minds about modesty. ;) Give it a try, what do you have to lose? Thanks to my sister-in-law for sharing this video with me! (I would start it at 4:20 to get listen to the study.)

I really respect her outreach to females on modesty. Jessica Ray also owns a company that makes and sales modest swimsuits, and travels all over the country speaking on modesty. Please feel free to visit her site and see some of her products. "Modesty isn't about covering up our bodies because they are bad. Modesty isn't about hiding ourselves. It's about revealing our dignity. We were made beautiful in His image and likeness." Shout out to Jessica Ray for her courage! Have a blessed day ladies! ;)

Love,
D

Looking thru the Shoedazzle website, I found that there were nice watches on the website.  Shoedazzle watches  is the link if you would like to look at them AND they aren't too expensive. However, if the link doesn't work please sign up. It is free and you only pay when buying :) (U know what?- all these stores/websites need to pay us for advertising!...I'm gonna look into that :D)!  I don't know what your style is but I really like the watches below and I would love to have all the colors there are because then I could always match...YEAH! muhahaha!  Hope you liked this po...

Feelin' Blue?

Hi loves,  I was feeling a little "blue" today, so I thought I would get in touch with a little bit of my happiness...YOU LOVELY PEOPLE & FASHION.  This photo shoot took place about a month ago, but it just happened to be convenient for today. hehehe.  While this color of blue is a very much used during the spring time, I am a firm believer colors are meant to be worn at all times. It just take a little more effort to "make it work."  As I've stated before, these are my favorite heels. So, please excuse them for appearing more than once. LOL. They just love to be seen! jk. At any rate, you can always change an outfit by changing one simple thing about it. As you will see in the next set of pictures, a simple yet loud closed toe pump really does change the look.  The closed toed pump really matures the look. For example, I would totally wear this to work with a closed-toe pump (let's be real...I would wear either loo...

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...
