D2's Pure Bliss!!!

Hello my sweet bloggers!
Today I will be sharing about a treat I really love! So, I know I'm supposed to be writing about shoes, clothes, accessories, or hair but U know I have to throw a little something special in...every once in a while ;) Here it goes...one of my co-workers brought some soft sugar cookies one day. I saw them and I thought they looked kind of funny. However, when she asked me if I wanted to try one, I gave in. The moment I took the first bite, it was like I was in heaven and I could hear the angels playing the harps LOL! OH MAN...let me tell you, they are the BOMB! I love those soft sugar cookies. Even though, I have been working out...I have to admit I've been eating those LOL! (oh gosh, I hope my hubby doesn't see this ;o). Well, today I ate a Zaxby's Zalad (the house-grilled) and it was soo good. However, I felt that I was missing something so later on we bought some of those soft sugar cookies. Oh darn, I felt horrible but hey at least I ate a salad for lunch. BUT, You know what that means: when I get home today, I better work those cookies off of my system :P I need to do better! I wish I could make this myself but they taste better when they are bought..bahahaha!
If you have a chance, try these my peeps! They are delicious. They are soft, sweet and they have sprinkles! I know they sell them at Food Lion, Wally World (Wal-Mart), Target & Kroger & probably in other stores around you. If you see them let us know what state and store :) Oh and if you haven't tried them please do!
Have I mentioned they are soft, they melt in your mouth, and have the perfect sweetness to them ;o
Enjoy your day my friends. Take care and God Bless!

Thanksgiving: CHECK ...now, Christmas!

Hello my dear readers, I'm so sorry I've been so ghost on all of you! Huge thanks to D2 for keeping you guys updated. :D I have been crazy trying to travel for Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping for a family that my job adopted, and trying to continue planning my upcoming trip to NY...last but not least work. :/ hehehe. At any rate, I know everyone is getting ready to spend quality time with their families over the holidays as well as giving wonderful gifts from the heart. I'm more of a giver than a receiver. I love to think my heart was constructed under the blue print of the heart of Jesus...always giving out of love. I am not saying Christmas should be about gifts, but it's always nice when I can make someone else smile. Definitely take this time to appreciate your loved ones and spend the time that you've missed with them throughout the year. ...AND if you have some EXTRA time on your hands, feel free to reach out to those in real need. We are too blessed ...

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...

"Curly" Straws beautify! :)

Happy Thursday loves, I'm really exhausted today, but I thought one thing would cheer me up...BLOGGING! :) So thanks to the fabulous Divas in my life who research just as much as I do about fashion, here is another trick for your hair. Curls! These are really tight curls, but there are many other tutorials to show you how to loosen them. You will need the following items to accomplish this look: STRAWS, Bobby pins ,  & maybe some hairspray. Yes, you read correctly...Straws! (^.^) No curling iron, no flat iron, no heat...all natural. hehehehe. My older sister actually used this trick on her daughters hair, which is long a beautiful, and it was adorable! Cheap way to make curls...I think it's a WINNER! They really do come out beautiful. Personally, I haven't tried it yet...probably because I'll need a WHOLE BUNCH of straws for my hair, but I think it's worth trying. I'll let you know how mine turn out & feel free to let us know your results ...
