Love Culture Jersey Maxi Dress REVIEW!

Hello my lovely peeps!

Hope you all are doing great on this wonderful day!  I have a list of things that I want to blog about...I'm just very restricted on time. gahhhhh! lol. Anyway, I wanted to give a review of the following Jersey Maxi Dress from Love Culture.

now, $12.95

I actually purchased this dress in black a few months ago. I must say...it was definitely worth it! I love this dress. The only con, that I can think of, is the material used to make this dress. It is very thin so you can see EVERYTHING & I do mean EVERYTHING! lol.

I have to definitely alter what I use with this dress to make it a little more modest for my taste. (If you would like to know my tricks just email us at ddspurebliss@gmail.com & I'll be happy to share.) The good part is that it's black so it can also go with just about ANYTHING! :)

It's super comfortable, very light material, length is how it looks in the picture, just overall a very good product. I don't think they sell it in black at the same price (it might be just a few dollars more), but I think it's a very good basic black casual dress to have in your closet.

They also have other midi dresses and long dresses that have come out since I purchased this dress. Now, I kind of wish I would have waited. lol. I found some other really cute products from love culture below. I'm in love with this blazer and tan jacket...I feel a shopping date coming up! hehehehe.

Check out their products! www.loveculture.com (& no, I'm not being paid to promote them. I genuinely love this store.) Thanks for reading and have a blessed day!

Love,
D

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...

"Curly" Straws beautify! :)

Happy Thursday loves, I'm really exhausted today, but I thought one thing would cheer me up...BLOGGING! :) So thanks to the fabulous Divas in my life who research just as much as I do about fashion, here is another trick for your hair. Curls! These are really tight curls, but there are many other tutorials to show you how to loosen them. You will need the following items to accomplish this look: STRAWS, Bobby pins ,  & maybe some hairspray. Yes, you read correctly...Straws! (^.^) No curling iron, no flat iron, no heat...all natural. hehehehe. My older sister actually used this trick on her daughters hair, which is long a beautiful, and it was adorable! Cheap way to make curls...I think it's a WINNER! They really do come out beautiful. Personally, I haven't tried it yet...probably because I'll need a WHOLE BUNCH of straws for my hair, but I think it's worth trying. I'll let you know how mine turn out & feel free to let us know your results ...

Thanksgiving: CHECK ...now, Christmas!

Hello my dear readers, I'm so sorry I've been so ghost on all of you! Huge thanks to D2 for keeping you guys updated. :D I have been crazy trying to travel for Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping for a family that my job adopted, and trying to continue planning my upcoming trip to NY...last but not least work. :/ hehehe. At any rate, I know everyone is getting ready to spend quality time with their families over the holidays as well as giving wonderful gifts from the heart. I'm more of a giver than a receiver. I love to think my heart was constructed under the blue print of the heart of Jesus...always giving out of love. I am not saying Christmas should be about gifts, but it's always nice when I can make someone else smile. Definitely take this time to appreciate your loved ones and spend the time that you've missed with them throughout the year. ...AND if you have some EXTRA time on your hands, feel free to reach out to those in real need. We are too blessed ...
