NO HEELS?!?! WUUTTT??!!!

Hello there my blog peeps!
Hope everyone is doing good. This is D2 showing some love <3 <3
Okay, so... the other D got me started. Now I feel I have to express MY disagreement with another fashion trend out there: The heel-less shoe. Can I hear a REALLY?!?! Who thinks of these ideas. While I'm happy someone is able to think of ideas I am grossed out by the ideas they think of  ;/  Don't like it & don't understand it!

I definitely love heels and I wouldn't dare talk bad about them except for the crazy shoes out there. You guys know there are lots of them. Crazy platforms the women on the street corner wear (don't want to call them what my hubby calls them), the embellished spike shoe & these (heel-less shoes) :)
I have a feeling some model with a big foot tried on a small pair of shoes and she said "look I can walk in them" even though half of her foot was hanging out. So the "fashionistas" decided "hey, lets do a shoe w/o a heel!" Everyone in the room said  "yes...awesome...let's do it!" Thus, the trend got started. UGH!! Need I same more than UGH!!??

However, this is a free country and you are entitled to your own opinion. If you want to wear these shoes go ahead be my guest but don't try to sue the shoe company when you fall...that'll be your fault! Hey, I'm trying to help you out bc I care about you and bc I don't want to see you make a fashion mistake ;) Girls, let's stay true to ourselves and let's stick to what we know works for us. Don't fall into "new trend shoe pressure."

Wanna see some other shoes that will hurt your beautiful lil eyes?! here ya go...enjoy!!!
want to feel the wind on your feet but still want to wear heels or what ever those are?!
would you like to scuba dive in heels?
 um???!!!! ouch!
I was going to try to find some more but now I'm just bored to death. I'm sorry for boring you and I'm sorry you have to look at these U-G-L-Y things.

Remember that you don't always have to be intertwined with the fashions of this world. Sometimes simple is better and old skool (original) even better LOL! I'll stick to what I know looks best on me :)

On another note, hope you all have a wonderful and blessed day.
Luv,
D2

Thanksgiving: CHECK ...now, Christmas!

Hello my dear readers, I'm so sorry I've been so ghost on all of you! Huge thanks to D2 for keeping you guys updated. :D I have been crazy trying to travel for Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping for a family that my job adopted, and trying to continue planning my upcoming trip to NY...last but not least work. :/ hehehe. At any rate, I know everyone is getting ready to spend quality time with their families over the holidays as well as giving wonderful gifts from the heart. I'm more of a giver than a receiver. I love to think my heart was constructed under the blue print of the heart of Jesus...always giving out of love. I am not saying Christmas should be about gifts, but it's always nice when I can make someone else smile. Definitely take this time to appreciate your loved ones and spend the time that you've missed with them throughout the year. ...AND if you have some EXTRA time on your hands, feel free to reach out to those in real need. We are too blessed ...

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...

"Curly" Straws beautify! :)

Happy Thursday loves, I'm really exhausted today, but I thought one thing would cheer me up...BLOGGING! :) So thanks to the fabulous Divas in my life who research just as much as I do about fashion, here is another trick for your hair. Curls! These are really tight curls, but there are many other tutorials to show you how to loosen them. You will need the following items to accomplish this look: STRAWS, Bobby pins ,  & maybe some hairspray. Yes, you read correctly...Straws! (^.^) No curling iron, no flat iron, no heat...all natural. hehehehe. My older sister actually used this trick on her daughters hair, which is long a beautiful, and it was adorable! Cheap way to make curls...I think it's a WINNER! They really do come out beautiful. Personally, I haven't tried it yet...probably because I'll need a WHOLE BUNCH of straws for my hair, but I think it's worth trying. I'll let you know how mine turn out & feel free to let us know your results ...
