Women's Puma Sneakers & more...

Happy Friday girlz!
So...good news! An Academy Sports & Outdoors store just opened recently in our area of Aiken, SC. My husband and I went there this past weekend (it was tax free wknd). We bought some sneakers (or tennis shoes, as they are called here). I'll stick to sneakers ;-) I got  some nice Puma's. They are very comfy and they were on sale for a fair price PLUS I didn't have to pay taxes...YEEEYYAAAAHH! I'm usually about a 7.5 and these Puma's are a size 7 & I feel like they fit a 'lil big, just a 'lil! My husband got some Nike sneakers...really nice ones & he also bought an exercise bike. The bike's seat is VERY uncomfortable but we got a good deal on it, so I guess that makes up for it LOL! Everyone says I'm very thin & yeah I am; but ever since I turned 26, this year, I have noticed I have gained a 'lil more weight than what I would like...omg, AHHH, I'm sooo scared LOL! BUT, I know the bike will come in handy :)
N.E wayz, here let me show you the shoes we got and the bike. I think you'll like them...

Thanksgiving: CHECK ...now, Christmas!

Hello my dear readers, I'm so sorry I've been so ghost on all of you! Huge thanks to D2 for keeping you guys updated. :D I have been crazy trying to travel for Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping for a family that my job adopted, and trying to continue planning my upcoming trip to NY...last but not least work. :/ hehehe. At any rate, I know everyone is getting ready to spend quality time with their families over the holidays as well as giving wonderful gifts from the heart. I'm more of a giver than a receiver. I love to think my heart was constructed under the blue print of the heart of Jesus...always giving out of love. I am not saying Christmas should be about gifts, but it's always nice when I can make someone else smile. Definitely take this time to appreciate your loved ones and spend the time that you've missed with them throughout the year. ...AND if you have some EXTRA time on your hands, feel free to reach out to those in real need. We are too blessed ...

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...

Bow Ties vs Ties

Hello to all of my amazing gentlemen!! As promised, I am making this post for you guys. ;) Based on our feedback, the topic for today was requested by our male readers! Thank you guys for being so faithful to our blog and showing your interest for more fashion tips.  Someone mentioned that I tend to use pictures of "model" males and females, and it felt unrealistic. So...I had a few guys who were willing to be our "real" life models. They come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and ethnic backgrounds. ;) Special shout out to each of them.  Ok... BOW TIES VS. TIES . What's the difference??????? When should you wear one???? How do you wear either one of them???? No worries gentlemen! We're here to help. ;)  Beside the obvious reason of difference in style, the Bow Tie has a long reputation of being classy, authoritative, and extremely formal. They have also been very popular for the southern preppy style. For example, bow ties are highly reco...
