I heart Steve Madden!

Beautiful Saturday to all of our wonderful readers,

I have missed all of you! I have hit the busiest time of the year for my 13 countries at work, so my blogging has been put on hold for a bit.

There are several more post to come, so please stay tuned! Today, I wanted to share one of my most favorite shoe brands...STEVE MADDEN.

Steve madden knows how to do it right for the most part. lol. Then again, I only really invest in shoes that I feel will last me a long time, since they are pretty much a more expensive shoe. This is my recommendation to all of you ladies. Only invest if you really feel you will get your money's worth...just saying.

Why purchase a shoe for tons of money, if you'll only wear it once. I'm ok with fashion trends, but fashion trends change EVERY season and unless you got it like that...then you need to be wise about your wardrobe pieces.

So, I fell in love with these babies the moment I saw a makeover happen on one of my favorite talk shows. I spent almost an hour trying to track them down. lol.

I am a person who LOVES tons of color. If you won't like color, don't worry there are several solid color options for you as well. Vibrant colors just make me happy, and I just feel like it would make someone else happy as well. lol.
When you use more solid colors in your attire with a multicolored shoe like this, you make it your footwear STATEMENT! It looks HOT! LOL.

So, here are a few shoes and handbags I found on the Steve Madden website: www.stevemadden.com

I did not focus on winter boots, because I feel like most of the styles are too close to last year's boots. So, I wouldn't invest a new pair yet. However, if you are in need to cute boots, they have plenty of options on their site. Please feel free to visit their site! :)

Let me know which ones YOU love/like/don't like. Happy Shopping & remember make it worth the investment!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and God bless.

Love,
D

Thanksgiving: CHECK ...now, Christmas!

Hello my dear readers, I'm so sorry I've been so ghost on all of you! Huge thanks to D2 for keeping you guys updated. :D I have been crazy trying to travel for Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping for a family that my job adopted, and trying to continue planning my upcoming trip to NY...last but not least work. :/ hehehe. At any rate, I know everyone is getting ready to spend quality time with their families over the holidays as well as giving wonderful gifts from the heart. I'm more of a giver than a receiver. I love to think my heart was constructed under the blue print of the heart of Jesus...always giving out of love. I am not saying Christmas should be about gifts, but it's always nice when I can make someone else smile. Definitely take this time to appreciate your loved ones and spend the time that you've missed with them throughout the year. ...AND if you have some EXTRA time on your hands, feel free to reach out to those in real need. We are too blessed ...

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...

"Curly" Straws beautify! :)

Happy Thursday loves, I'm really exhausted today, but I thought one thing would cheer me up...BLOGGING! :) So thanks to the fabulous Divas in my life who research just as much as I do about fashion, here is another trick for your hair. Curls! These are really tight curls, but there are many other tutorials to show you how to loosen them. You will need the following items to accomplish this look: STRAWS, Bobby pins ,  & maybe some hairspray. Yes, you read correctly...Straws! (^.^) No curling iron, no flat iron, no heat...all natural. hehehehe. My older sister actually used this trick on her daughters hair, which is long a beautiful, and it was adorable! Cheap way to make curls...I think it's a WINNER! They really do come out beautiful. Personally, I haven't tried it yet...probably because I'll need a WHOLE BUNCH of straws for my hair, but I think it's worth trying. I'll let you know how mine turn out & feel free to let us know your results ...
