INTUITION

Hello my wonderful friends!
I hope everyone is doing awesome today. I am better...I have had terrible allergies this month & I got really sick but I'm much better, thanks to God & a SHOUT OUT to my hubby who took great care of me! XOXO to him!!! AND, by the way...yesterday, Thursday, September 26, 2013 was our 4 year anniversary with many many many more to come :) How exciting!

Nuff about me...
Let me tell you about a handy dandy razor that I use. You don't need shave gel or soap all you need is water! It is great. It leaves your skin smooth, silky and smelling fresh! Another fun fact about this razor is that some of them have cool design on them. It is the Intuition razor by Schick. If you click on the link it will take you to the Schick website where you can view the different razors that are sold.
My favorite is the Intuition Naturals Sensitive Care. I have sensitive skin and it irritates quite fast so with this razor my skin is smooth and clean! ;)
Schick® Intuition® Naturals Sensitive Care® razor has a Skin Conditioning Solid that contains 100% natural Aloe with Vitamin E, and is fragrance free and hypo-allergenic so it's gentle on your skin and helps reduce irritation
I always buy mine at Wal-Mart. The package I buy is about $5+  and it's for one razor blade like you see in the picture above. However, I would much rather buy the package that brings an extra cartridge (about $8/$9) BUT they NEVER have it!!! You just don't know how much that irritates me. I also buy the pack of cartridges-it brings 3 and it's about $10-$12. In the long-run it's not too bad because each cartridge lasts me about 3-4 weeks.

A little tip: If you want the skin conditioning solid to last longer, don't use it under running water because it melts away quicker. What I do is: make sure my body is wet enough so that when I shave, it really just glides on my skin :) But if you need to have running water then that is a-o.k. However you feel more comfortable!

Have a safe, wonderful, and blessed weekend everybody :)
Luv,
D2

Thanksgiving: CHECK ...now, Christmas!

Hello my dear readers, I'm so sorry I've been so ghost on all of you! Huge thanks to D2 for keeping you guys updated. :D I have been crazy trying to travel for Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping for a family that my job adopted, and trying to continue planning my upcoming trip to NY...last but not least work. :/ hehehe. At any rate, I know everyone is getting ready to spend quality time with their families over the holidays as well as giving wonderful gifts from the heart. I'm more of a giver than a receiver. I love to think my heart was constructed under the blue print of the heart of Jesus...always giving out of love. I am not saying Christmas should be about gifts, but it's always nice when I can make someone else smile. Definitely take this time to appreciate your loved ones and spend the time that you've missed with them throughout the year. ...AND if you have some EXTRA time on your hands, feel free to reach out to those in real need. We are too blessed ...

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...

"Curly" Straws beautify! :)

Happy Thursday loves, I'm really exhausted today, but I thought one thing would cheer me up...BLOGGING! :) So thanks to the fabulous Divas in my life who research just as much as I do about fashion, here is another trick for your hair. Curls! These are really tight curls, but there are many other tutorials to show you how to loosen them. You will need the following items to accomplish this look: STRAWS, Bobby pins ,  & maybe some hairspray. Yes, you read correctly...Straws! (^.^) No curling iron, no flat iron, no heat...all natural. hehehehe. My older sister actually used this trick on her daughters hair, which is long a beautiful, and it was adorable! Cheap way to make curls...I think it's a WINNER! They really do come out beautiful. Personally, I haven't tried it yet...probably because I'll need a WHOLE BUNCH of straws for my hair, but I think it's worth trying. I'll let you know how mine turn out & feel free to let us know your results ...
