Charlotte Russe Jackets & Instagram

Happy Friday Wonderful Readers,

I have sooo much to say, but I can only do so much with my time limitations. I have not forgotten all of you. As promised, I am going to let you all know what I found on my shopping spree last weekend!

My sister and I went to almost EVERY store in Augusta mall last weekend. Then we decided to go to Charlotte Russe, which we couldn't find!!! It was so crazy because we ALWAYS go there, but for some reason we were having brain farts. hehehehe. We went to several "directory" stands, but instead of having directions all they had were advertisements! -_- I bet the people sitting in the food court thought we were crazy, because we walked by there like 100x's...ok, like 10. LOL

Anyway, so I get there look around, pick up every leather black jacket I see and as I'm walking to the last one...I pass this beautifully wrinkled beige leather jacket with an "across the chest" gold zipper and a small waist belt that could be adjusted with an inside silk lining. I stood in front of it and just stared in amazement (one of those "I GOTTA HAVE THIS" looks, which I rarely get), snatched it off the rack, grabbed the last black leather jacket and the tan one beside it, and headed to the fitting room.

It's very true my people, NEVER judge clothing by how it looks on the rack. I fell in love in the fitting room. It was my first time investing in my own leather jackets, but it was so worth it. I had to order the black and tan jackets online, because they had run out of my size in the store, but that turned out better than I thought. I got on my iPhone, while my sister was trying on some fabulous heels & reserved those babies just for me! Luckily, I got one full price and the other half off! #WINNING! hehehehe.

I finally got the package last night! They really are beauties.

1.) The black jacket has a total of 5 gold zippers (2 on the side, 2 on the sleeves & the main zipper) with a ruched shoulder (looks kind of quilted-like), and a leopard inside so when you flip the sleeve...BAM! lol. Very comfortable. The neck-line is almost like a mini-turtle neck, but I just think it's so chic.

2.) The beige jacket is the one beauty mentioned above that made me fall in love. (^.^) I also added a picture on our Instagram (@ddspurebliss) with my OOTD.

3.) Camel/Tan colored Jacket is the most girly leather one I have. It has a ruched neckline as well as the sides. It also has more defined shoulders, which you can't see in this picture. It has gold zippers as well! (^.^) Guess my obsession this season is gold! hehehehe.

I also purchased beige heels with a gold trim (on Instagram), black flats, and some WORKOUT clothes! yay! No jean jacket, but who needs jean (at this moment) if you have the fabulous leather beauties. LOL! Besides, there aren't very many cute jean jackets out there...so I'll just wait.

Don't forget to follow us on INSTAGRAM, we put OOTD's up and other exclusive pics! ;)

BY THE WAY, we will be expanding to Men's Fashion very soon. So stay tuned gentlemen. We have not forgotten about all of you wonderful supporters!

Have fun shopping and sporting your fall trends. FYI, D2 had an awesome black & white color-blocking combination last Sunday (wish she would post a pic for us!). So adorable & definitely a HUGE fall trend.

Ok, new post soon...one of my favorite stores is now online. :D

Have a wonderful weekend & may it be filled with many many blessings!
Love,
D

Thanksgiving: CHECK ...now, Christmas!

Hello my dear readers, I'm so sorry I've been so ghost on all of you! Huge thanks to D2 for keeping you guys updated. :D I have been crazy trying to travel for Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping for a family that my job adopted, and trying to continue planning my upcoming trip to NY...last but not least work. :/ hehehe. At any rate, I know everyone is getting ready to spend quality time with their families over the holidays as well as giving wonderful gifts from the heart. I'm more of a giver than a receiver. I love to think my heart was constructed under the blue print of the heart of Jesus...always giving out of love. I am not saying Christmas should be about gifts, but it's always nice when I can make someone else smile. Definitely take this time to appreciate your loved ones and spend the time that you've missed with them throughout the year. ...AND if you have some EXTRA time on your hands, feel free to reach out to those in real need. We are too blessed ...

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...

"Curly" Straws beautify! :)

Happy Thursday loves, I'm really exhausted today, but I thought one thing would cheer me up...BLOGGING! :) So thanks to the fabulous Divas in my life who research just as much as I do about fashion, here is another trick for your hair. Curls! These are really tight curls, but there are many other tutorials to show you how to loosen them. You will need the following items to accomplish this look: STRAWS, Bobby pins ,  & maybe some hairspray. Yes, you read correctly...Straws! (^.^) No curling iron, no flat iron, no heat...all natural. hehehehe. My older sister actually used this trick on her daughters hair, which is long a beautiful, and it was adorable! Cheap way to make curls...I think it's a WINNER! They really do come out beautiful. Personally, I haven't tried it yet...probably because I'll need a WHOLE BUNCH of straws for my hair, but I think it's worth trying. I'll let you know how mine turn out & feel free to let us know your results ...
