White, Coral & Animal Print

Good Morning!
Hope everyone is well today!
I haven't been on here in a looong time. Nevertheless, I am back :) I wanted to share some pics of an outfit I like for the summer/spring. However, I am not scared of wearing it during fall and winter either LOL. You know all those fashion rules?! WELL...I don't actually follow them. Most of the time, I wear what I want to wear & what I feel comfortable in. Don't judge me :P

So, the blouse I got from JC Penney. I like shopping at JC Penney for skirts and dress blouses. I got this blouse during the spring time and it was about $15. Not too bad. Plus the color is one of my favorites-it's coral.
The skirt is Ralph Lauren, I got it at Macy's and of course it's white. I think I paid about $10 for the skirt during the winter time. It definitely is a good idea to buy summer clothing in winter and vice versa.
The shoes are Giani Bini and I got those at Dillard's. I think I paid about $25 for those shoes during a sale event. No need to let you know what color those are ;)
Drum roll.... 50 bucks for this whole outfit people...can't beat that! YAAAY!
I wear this outfit for church and work :)
I will be taking more pics of my clothing and sharing them with you. I don't have a lot of clothes but I mix and match what I have :) My husband says "Yeah, wutever." Hehehehe! MEN?!

God Bless,
D2

Thanksgiving: CHECK ...now, Christmas!

Hello my dear readers, I'm so sorry I've been so ghost on all of you! Huge thanks to D2 for keeping you guys updated. :D I have been crazy trying to travel for Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping for a family that my job adopted, and trying to continue planning my upcoming trip to NY...last but not least work. :/ hehehe. At any rate, I know everyone is getting ready to spend quality time with their families over the holidays as well as giving wonderful gifts from the heart. I'm more of a giver than a receiver. I love to think my heart was constructed under the blue print of the heart of Jesus...always giving out of love. I am not saying Christmas should be about gifts, but it's always nice when I can make someone else smile. Definitely take this time to appreciate your loved ones and spend the time that you've missed with them throughout the year. ...AND if you have some EXTRA time on your hands, feel free to reach out to those in real need. We are too blessed ...

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...

"Curly" Straws beautify! :)

Happy Thursday loves, I'm really exhausted today, but I thought one thing would cheer me up...BLOGGING! :) So thanks to the fabulous Divas in my life who research just as much as I do about fashion, here is another trick for your hair. Curls! These are really tight curls, but there are many other tutorials to show you how to loosen them. You will need the following items to accomplish this look: STRAWS, Bobby pins ,  & maybe some hairspray. Yes, you read correctly...Straws! (^.^) No curling iron, no flat iron, no heat...all natural. hehehehe. My older sister actually used this trick on her daughters hair, which is long a beautiful, and it was adorable! Cheap way to make curls...I think it's a WINNER! They really do come out beautiful. Personally, I haven't tried it yet...probably because I'll need a WHOLE BUNCH of straws for my hair, but I think it's worth trying. I'll let you know how mine turn out & feel free to let us know your results ...
