Men's Fashion Finally HERE: Basic Rules

Hello Wonderful Readers!

Sorry I have been a bit ghost on the blog, but I have focused my energy on our Instagram account. ;) Be sure to follow for Outfits Of The Day. @ddspurebliss

Ok, gentlemen let's get started & ladies some of you may have that special guy in your life, so it's a GREAT read for you as well. :D

Surprisingly, many males think it's fine to just slip on a shirt and jump into jeans when they are getting ready to go out. Unfortunately for you guys, there are actually rules for men's fashion. HA! Ladies, we have grasped this concept, now let's help out our lovely guys.

I found a great site with fashion rules for men's fashion. (no, I'm not talking about men older than +40, I'm talking about the entire male species. lol) These are BASIC rules, and as we keep posting on this blog, we will expand more on the rules. Enjoy!

Note: Initially, it was tailored for a good male friend of mine, who wanted some guidance in style, but do not fear! I will add more pins to the board as time goes on, so feel free to visit at least once a month or follow on pinterest! ;) http://www.pinterest.com/galuja/mens-wear/

Here are some WONDERFUL examples off of the Men's Fashion board:

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...

"Curly" Straws beautify! :)

Happy Thursday loves, I'm really exhausted today, but I thought one thing would cheer me up...BLOGGING! :) So thanks to the fabulous Divas in my life who research just as much as I do about fashion, here is another trick for your hair. Curls! These are really tight curls, but there are many other tutorials to show you how to loosen them. You will need the following items to accomplish this look: STRAWS, Bobby pins ,  & maybe some hairspray. Yes, you read correctly...Straws! (^.^) No curling iron, no flat iron, no heat...all natural. hehehehe. My older sister actually used this trick on her daughters hair, which is long a beautiful, and it was adorable! Cheap way to make curls...I think it's a WINNER! They really do come out beautiful. Personally, I haven't tried it yet...probably because I'll need a WHOLE BUNCH of straws for my hair, but I think it's worth trying. I'll let you know how mine turn out & feel free to let us know your results ...

Quick Lil Tips

Hi! God Bless Everyone! Hope all is well! Remember back a few months when I told you about the uses for Coconut Oil?! Coconut Oil as Face Moisturizer Well, I tried the coconut oil and I tried it on my face as a moisturizer. It works very well with my skin. My skin is oily so I thought my face was going to look like straight up oil BUT it didn't ;) Also, I had a few bumps around my nose/upper lip area because I went and got it waxed along with my eyebrows and chin LOL! Obviously my skin is not made for that so I won't be doing that again...well, I won't be waxing near my nose/lip area... NO NO NO! Because it has anti-fungal, anti-viral and anti-bacterial functions I decided to try it out around the nose/lip area and guess what? That allergic reaction I had to the waxing is gone :) YAY! I also use a topical cream on my face that dries my skin out but because I use the Coconot Oil on my face, my face doesn't peel anymore! Another thing I noticed about using coconut ...
