Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year everyone!
I hope everyone had a nice and safe holiday!

I've been waiting for this moment so I can share pics of new clothing, shoes and purses. Unfortunately, today I will only share a couple of pictures of a purse my husband got me for Christmas.
For Thanksgiving we went to the Premium Outlets near (2.5 hours away) were we live (so I guess it's not so "near"). Anyway, the blue & white part is like canvas style and the brown is leather. It is a comfortable purse/tote. I love the colors. I remember walking into the store and the first thing I saw was this beauty ;) It was right in front of me calling my name lol!
You're probably wondering how this was my Christmas present if I saw it before then...well, see what had happened was... he gave me the $ to buy whatever I wanted and so I did :) For those women who have a husband I hope you are as blessed as I am and for those women who are waiting for the right guy I hope God blesses you with a husband as wonderful as mine is! Shout out to all the wonderful husbands!!! :)

So, I wanted to just share these two pics with you but don't worry there is more to come...very soon.

I hope this year is a new year for you to be blessed and grow spiritually with God.
Have Blessed day!

Luv,
D2

Thanksgiving: CHECK ...now, Christmas!

Hello my dear readers, I'm so sorry I've been so ghost on all of you! Huge thanks to D2 for keeping you guys updated. :D I have been crazy trying to travel for Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping for a family that my job adopted, and trying to continue planning my upcoming trip to NY...last but not least work. :/ hehehe. At any rate, I know everyone is getting ready to spend quality time with their families over the holidays as well as giving wonderful gifts from the heart. I'm more of a giver than a receiver. I love to think my heart was constructed under the blue print of the heart of Jesus...always giving out of love. I am not saying Christmas should be about gifts, but it's always nice when I can make someone else smile. Definitely take this time to appreciate your loved ones and spend the time that you've missed with them throughout the year. ...AND if you have some EXTRA time on your hands, feel free to reach out to those in real need. We are too blessed ...

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...

"Curly" Straws beautify! :)

Happy Thursday loves, I'm really exhausted today, but I thought one thing would cheer me up...BLOGGING! :) So thanks to the fabulous Divas in my life who research just as much as I do about fashion, here is another trick for your hair. Curls! These are really tight curls, but there are many other tutorials to show you how to loosen them. You will need the following items to accomplish this look: STRAWS, Bobby pins ,  & maybe some hairspray. Yes, you read correctly...Straws! (^.^) No curling iron, no flat iron, no heat...all natural. hehehehe. My older sister actually used this trick on her daughters hair, which is long a beautiful, and it was adorable! Cheap way to make curls...I think it's a WINNER! They really do come out beautiful. Personally, I haven't tried it yet...probably because I'll need a WHOLE BUNCH of straws for my hair, but I think it's worth trying. I'll let you know how mine turn out & feel free to let us know your results ...
