Tick Tock...

Hola mis Amigos!
Hi my friends!

I hope you are all doing well today...I know I am :)
So, today I would like to tell you about my new watch. It is a Tommy Hilfiger watch. It is white with some chrome around the face of the watch (aka: the dial).

I'm going to be honest and say that what I really wanted was one of those watches that has a large dial with some bling on it. I specifically wanted a Fossil watch like the one below.
Fossil Striped Strap Watch - Women's Watches | Buckle
However, in November (last year) my husband and I went shopping at the Premium Outlets (in Gaffney, SC) and when we stopped at the Tommy Hilfiger store I saw this watch. I had just finished my shopping and I was waiting for my husband. He was going all out! I never thought men could shop like that but I was soo wrong! So, I see this watch AND  finally when my husband came out of hiding from the men's section I took him to see the watch and he liked it. First thing he said was: "how much is it?" so I showed him the tag and it was $115. But since it was a Christmas present it was ALL GOOD, I got it anyway :) hehehe! YAY! I was so happy because I wanted a white watch really bad. This watch is very comfortable because of the silicone/rubber wristband. It is the right size for my skinny little wrist and it goes with everything because the watch is, not only, very sporty but also very elegant. Just what I was looking for!
But seriously...I will get a bling watch next time ;)
Oh, and also I am very thankful for my watch. I really really really like it! I'm enjoying it for sure.
Take care and God Bless.
Luv,
D2

Very true
I really like this quote, it makes you ponder! ;)

Thanksgiving: CHECK ...now, Christmas!

Hello my dear readers, I'm so sorry I've been so ghost on all of you! Huge thanks to D2 for keeping you guys updated. :D I have been crazy trying to travel for Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping for a family that my job adopted, and trying to continue planning my upcoming trip to NY...last but not least work. :/ hehehe. At any rate, I know everyone is getting ready to spend quality time with their families over the holidays as well as giving wonderful gifts from the heart. I'm more of a giver than a receiver. I love to think my heart was constructed under the blue print of the heart of Jesus...always giving out of love. I am not saying Christmas should be about gifts, but it's always nice when I can make someone else smile. Definitely take this time to appreciate your loved ones and spend the time that you've missed with them throughout the year. ...AND if you have some EXTRA time on your hands, feel free to reach out to those in real need. We are too blessed ...

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...

"Curly" Straws beautify! :)

Happy Thursday loves, I'm really exhausted today, but I thought one thing would cheer me up...BLOGGING! :) So thanks to the fabulous Divas in my life who research just as much as I do about fashion, here is another trick for your hair. Curls! These are really tight curls, but there are many other tutorials to show you how to loosen them. You will need the following items to accomplish this look: STRAWS, Bobby pins ,  & maybe some hairspray. Yes, you read correctly...Straws! (^.^) No curling iron, no flat iron, no heat...all natural. hehehehe. My older sister actually used this trick on her daughters hair, which is long a beautiful, and it was adorable! Cheap way to make curls...I think it's a WINNER! They really do come out beautiful. Personally, I haven't tried it yet...probably because I'll need a WHOLE BUNCH of straws for my hair, but I think it's worth trying. I'll let you know how mine turn out & feel free to let us know your results ...
