TrickyDazzle...not ShoeDazzle!

Hello my wonderful readers!
I'm sorry that I have been gone for sooo looong! :(
It has been crazy with the "ice/snow storm" we experienced recently. Nonetheless, I'm happy we got some snow...yay! I was born in NY and I'm used to so many feet of snow but down here in SC we hardly get any snow so when I see snow I get happy :) Oh and in the middle of this "ice/snow storm" I also experienced an earthquake of 4.1 magnitude. AHHH!!! NEED I SAY MORE?!?! Told you it's been crazy ;)

So, now I would like to share another interesting story. Last year I signed up for the VIP Classic with shoedazzle. Well, I really liked the fact that it was only $9.95 a month. If I didn't use the $9.95 credit for a purchase then it would still be available for me to use the following months until I used it. It was kind of a "savings" for shoes LOL! Then, shoedazzle decided they were going to add another VIP membership... VIP Elite. The charge for the VIP Elite is $39.95/mo but the members of the VIP Classic could still keep the Classic membership for $9.95. You know me, I wasn't going to 'upgrade' to the Elite cuz...Ain't nobody got time fo dat! ;) hehehe. In January I received an email from shoedazzle saying that day was the last day for me to skip the month before they charged me $39.95 for the Elite membership. You do remember reading that I didn't want to upgrade to the Elite right?!...thank you! I called shoedazzle and they apologized blah blah blah and said it shouldn't happen again. OK, cool. Guess what happened in February? I got that same email- I needed to go ahead and skip the month or else $39.95 would be debited from my bank account. I have to admit, I was upset. So, I called again AND they apologized AGAIN and said they were having issues with their email system. Ok. Fine. Then I get another email in February that said Welcome to VIP Elite...SAY WHAT?! OOOH, I lost it! At that moment I was gone to another world. I called AGAIN! 3rd time...here we go again!!! Shoedazzle said a mistake had been made and that I shouldn't worry because on my account details it said I had the Classic. FINE. At that point, I decided to go ahead and just buy some shoes and delete/cancel my membership with them. I did buy a pair of shoes. BTW, I bought them off of the VIP Clearance section. Next thing I know, I get another email saying that because I bought from the VIP Clearance section my account was upgraded to VIP Elite. OMG!!! OMG!!! OMG!!! I was furious... no joke...I was! I called shoedazzle again to explain everything that had been happening from the very first email up to the purchase of the shoes off of the vip clearance. The representative that I spoke to said that because I bought shoes from the vip clearance, yes, I was upraged to the Elite membership. I don't know if this will happen to anyone else so I wanted to WARN you. Once again, I called...this tie to have my membership cancelled. The rep I spoke to was apologizing and said she could just go ahead and transfer my account from Elite back to Classic and she kept insisting. But I kept insisting also and said NO! She tried to explain what happened and that it was easy to keep my Classic membership but I was DONE. So, finally my membership was cancelled and IS cancelled! Thank You shoedazzle for the most wonderful-awesome-adventure! :P

Oh, I got one of my co-workers to see if there was anything 'funny' when purchasing from the VIP Clearance and once you're ready to check out there is VIP Elite box that is already checked so you can upgrade to the VIP Elite. Before you continue your purchase (if you have VIP Classic) make sure you uncheck that box...or else. So, it was partially my fault but the emails that I received before this mess happened...that was ALL them! :) At least, I don't have to deal with this anymore. Shoes can be found everywhere anyway.

These are the wedges that I ordered from shoedazzle. They are a bright orange color with some black (even though it may sometimes look kind of brown..depends on the lighting) and hemp rope styled wedge heels. I didn't like them when I saw the picture online but when I saw them at home on my feet I really liked them. They are going to be awesome for the spring and summer yay! Oh and I noticed that the orange and black colors make a heart...aww?! :)

Ok, so now that I vented to you guys...I hope you have a wonderful day and be blessed!
leave it in God's hands

Thanksgiving: CHECK ...now, Christmas!

Hello my dear readers, I'm so sorry I've been so ghost on all of you! Huge thanks to D2 for keeping you guys updated. :D I have been crazy trying to travel for Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping for a family that my job adopted, and trying to continue planning my upcoming trip to NY...last but not least work. :/ hehehe. At any rate, I know everyone is getting ready to spend quality time with their families over the holidays as well as giving wonderful gifts from the heart. I'm more of a giver than a receiver. I love to think my heart was constructed under the blue print of the heart of Jesus...always giving out of love. I am not saying Christmas should be about gifts, but it's always nice when I can make someone else smile. Definitely take this time to appreciate your loved ones and spend the time that you've missed with them throughout the year. ...AND if you have some EXTRA time on your hands, feel free to reach out to those in real need. We are too blessed ...

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...

"Curly" Straws beautify! :)

Happy Thursday loves, I'm really exhausted today, but I thought one thing would cheer me up...BLOGGING! :) So thanks to the fabulous Divas in my life who research just as much as I do about fashion, here is another trick for your hair. Curls! These are really tight curls, but there are many other tutorials to show you how to loosen them. You will need the following items to accomplish this look: STRAWS, Bobby pins ,  & maybe some hairspray. Yes, you read correctly...Straws! (^.^) No curling iron, no flat iron, no heat...all natural. hehehehe. My older sister actually used this trick on her daughters hair, which is long a beautiful, and it was adorable! Cheap way to make curls...I think it's a WINNER! They really do come out beautiful. Personally, I haven't tried it yet...probably because I'll need a WHOLE BUNCH of straws for my hair, but I think it's worth trying. I'll let you know how mine turn out & feel free to let us know your results ...
