Are you a Maxxinista?! ;)

Hola mis friends!

God Bless!
Hope you are all doing well today...Happy Monday!
How many of you like to shop at TJ Maxx?! Raise yo' hand!!! Yeah, I see you & you & you too! You didn't think I could see you huh?! ;)  Whoop, Whoop...go me! hehehe...
I like to go into TJ Maxx and I usually go straight to the clearance sections first. That is the first thing I do when I go to any store. If I don't see anything I like then I just go through the store and find something I like & I make sure it's under budget. I'm very price conscious, in case you haven't noticed ;) I like the best deals possible when it comes to clothing and shoes.
(Well, actually I'm also that way when I go grocery shopping. If you shop at Wal-Mart you know they price match so that's what I do. A few weeks ago CVS had 2L Pepsi bottles for $.79 and I bought a few too many Pepsi bottles! LOL).
So, anyway I typed TJ Maxx on Google today just to see if they were selling items online yet. I've seen them advertising their commercials on television a lot. I haven't actually seen or heard them say anything about shopping online but I went ahead and tried it anyway.  Well, guess what?! They ARE selling on their website - TJ Maxx. However, they don't have a men's section online...sorry :( Only, women, junior, shoes, handbags, and of course clearance, just in, and the runway. I'm guessing that the men's section may be coming soon...hopefully.
Oh and by the way, shipping is $7.99 so if you can save the shipping cost by going to the store to get the same product for the same price then, that is awesome :)

Here are a few things from TJ Maxx's site:

This dress is in the women's dept @ $24.99

This skirt is in the women's dept @ $24.99

This is in the junior's section for $12.99

$24.99

 Alyssa $34.99

 Alyssa $29.99

Happy Shopping to every Maxxinista out there!

Luv,
D2

Thanksgiving: CHECK ...now, Christmas!

Hello my dear readers, I'm so sorry I've been so ghost on all of you! Huge thanks to D2 for keeping you guys updated. :D I have been crazy trying to travel for Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping for a family that my job adopted, and trying to continue planning my upcoming trip to NY...last but not least work. :/ hehehe. At any rate, I know everyone is getting ready to spend quality time with their families over the holidays as well as giving wonderful gifts from the heart. I'm more of a giver than a receiver. I love to think my heart was constructed under the blue print of the heart of Jesus...always giving out of love. I am not saying Christmas should be about gifts, but it's always nice when I can make someone else smile. Definitely take this time to appreciate your loved ones and spend the time that you've missed with them throughout the year. ...AND if you have some EXTRA time on your hands, feel free to reach out to those in real need. We are too blessed ...

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...

"Curly" Straws beautify! :)

Happy Thursday loves, I'm really exhausted today, but I thought one thing would cheer me up...BLOGGING! :) So thanks to the fabulous Divas in my life who research just as much as I do about fashion, here is another trick for your hair. Curls! These are really tight curls, but there are many other tutorials to show you how to loosen them. You will need the following items to accomplish this look: STRAWS, Bobby pins ,  & maybe some hairspray. Yes, you read correctly...Straws! (^.^) No curling iron, no flat iron, no heat...all natural. hehehehe. My older sister actually used this trick on her daughters hair, which is long a beautiful, and it was adorable! Cheap way to make curls...I think it's a WINNER! They really do come out beautiful. Personally, I haven't tried it yet...probably because I'll need a WHOLE BUNCH of straws for my hair, but I think it's worth trying. I'll let you know how mine turn out & feel free to let us know your results ...
