More Modest Clothing!

Mikarose - Reinventing Modest Fashion

Hey Wonderful readers!
Hope you are all well today!

I am so happy to be able to share good news with you :)
Drum roll please... I found another great website for modest clothing! YAY! so the name of the website is mikarose. Don't know if anyone has heard of it BUT if you have you know the clothing is SO CUTE! The clothing seems very well made and seems to be of good quality. I cannot wait to buy something AND I already know that something is going to be a dress. The dresses are so cute and I love the fact that they are of good length. It is so hard to find dresses that fit long enough, especially when looking for a knee length dress. In the About Us section on the mikarose website it says:
"Mikarose is a clothing company that specializes in modest, elegant and fashionable dresses. Our company's idea evolved when the owners realized how difficult it was to find modest dresses in today's market. We are sure you have had similar experiences when looking for a modest dress. After many frustrating outings, we formed Mikarose. Our goal is to provide an extensive line of modest dresses, without having to sacrifice style. You will be able to wear our line to a broad range of functions: from everyday events to corporate parties. We hope to not only meet the needs of women looking for modest wear, but all those who are seeking elegant dresses."
Thank God for these women! ;)
I know some of you may think the prices are a little high but my husband always says "lo bueno cuesta" (spanish). Literally it means "the good costs." However, it means if you want something good it's going to cost you.
Know what I mean?! So, yeah...

On to MikaRose...let's see some pics

So these are a few of the things you can contemplate on this website :) The prices range from $9.99 (braided belt) up to $64.99 (red dress). There may be other articles of clothing that will cost more or less but I haven't browsed through long enough to know for sure :( There are a few other accessories like a bag and a few shoes but they didn't grab MY attention so...but the clothing, again, is very cute! If I remember correctly, priority shipping (2-3 days) is $7.99 so that isn't too bad. If you like anything from here go ahead and check it out! :) Oh, and of course remember that sizes are limited, so nice shopping <3 If you do buy from mikarose before me please let me know info on the clothing (material, quality, price?!) Thank you :)

Have a wonderfullistic day!
God Bless!
Luv,
D2
Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does,~Jesus. We can't be all things to all people, only God can. We can submit to Him and allow Him to use us anyway He sees fit.

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...

Thanksgiving: CHECK ...now, Christmas!

Hello my dear readers, I'm so sorry I've been so ghost on all of you! Huge thanks to D2 for keeping you guys updated. :D I have been crazy trying to travel for Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping for a family that my job adopted, and trying to continue planning my upcoming trip to NY...last but not least work. :/ hehehe. At any rate, I know everyone is getting ready to spend quality time with their families over the holidays as well as giving wonderful gifts from the heart. I'm more of a giver than a receiver. I love to think my heart was constructed under the blue print of the heart of Jesus...always giving out of love. I am not saying Christmas should be about gifts, but it's always nice when I can make someone else smile. Definitely take this time to appreciate your loved ones and spend the time that you've missed with them throughout the year. ...AND if you have some EXTRA time on your hands, feel free to reach out to those in real need. We are too blessed ...

"Curly" Straws beautify! :)

Happy Thursday loves, I'm really exhausted today, but I thought one thing would cheer me up...BLOGGING! :) So thanks to the fabulous Divas in my life who research just as much as I do about fashion, here is another trick for your hair. Curls! These are really tight curls, but there are many other tutorials to show you how to loosen them. You will need the following items to accomplish this look: STRAWS, Bobby pins ,  & maybe some hairspray. Yes, you read correctly...Straws! (^.^) No curling iron, no flat iron, no heat...all natural. hehehehe. My older sister actually used this trick on her daughters hair, which is long a beautiful, and it was adorable! Cheap way to make curls...I think it's a WINNER! They really do come out beautiful. Personally, I haven't tried it yet...probably because I'll need a WHOLE BUNCH of straws for my hair, but I think it's worth trying. I'll let you know how mine turn out & feel free to let us know your results ...
