Fall Fashion 2014 for Women

Hello to all of our wonderful ladies!

As promised, I am informing you ladies of what trends are hitting the stores this fall/winter. Please keep in mind, my intention of giving you all of these fashion trend updates is not to make you go out to buy all of these trends, but let you know what's HOT this season in case you do go shopping and would like to be "hip." LOL.

We wouldn't want our wardrobe to be "black and white," so that's why trends exist. I think they also exist to take $ out of our banks, but it's just soooo pretty sometimes. lol. Ok, so let's get to the good stuff...here are the trends for this coming season (time has flown by so quickly):

1. Shearling

2. Bright Colors (You can actually use some of your spring clothes to make the transition easier!)

3. Sweater Material/Dresses

Just take a look at this bad boy!!! LOL. (jk ladies, please don't wear anything like this one below)lol.

 4. "Rave" Prints

If this dress was only longer, I would totally get something like it. lol. & the one above? LOVE!
5. "Blending In." more like Suits

No pictures cute enough to post on this blog. Let's just say Dark Navy, Grey, Black, and "menswear" themed clothing is what's going to make this trend come to life in your wardrobe.

6. 60's inspired clothing

7. Finally, Sheer...be very careful with this trend as it's very hard to wear sheer in a modest fashion, but possible.

Ok, ladies. I hope this helps! Oh, style.com is a very useful website to keep up to date with fashion trends/seasons. HAPPY SHOPPING and enjoy Fall/Winter!!! <3 Be safe on Labor day! <3

God bless.
Love,
D

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...

Thanksgiving: CHECK ...now, Christmas!

Hello my dear readers, I'm so sorry I've been so ghost on all of you! Huge thanks to D2 for keeping you guys updated. :D I have been crazy trying to travel for Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping for a family that my job adopted, and trying to continue planning my upcoming trip to NY...last but not least work. :/ hehehe. At any rate, I know everyone is getting ready to spend quality time with their families over the holidays as well as giving wonderful gifts from the heart. I'm more of a giver than a receiver. I love to think my heart was constructed under the blue print of the heart of Jesus...always giving out of love. I am not saying Christmas should be about gifts, but it's always nice when I can make someone else smile. Definitely take this time to appreciate your loved ones and spend the time that you've missed with them throughout the year. ...AND if you have some EXTRA time on your hands, feel free to reach out to those in real need. We are too blessed ...

"Curly" Straws beautify! :)

Happy Thursday loves, I'm really exhausted today, but I thought one thing would cheer me up...BLOGGING! :) So thanks to the fabulous Divas in my life who research just as much as I do about fashion, here is another trick for your hair. Curls! These are really tight curls, but there are many other tutorials to show you how to loosen them. You will need the following items to accomplish this look: STRAWS, Bobby pins ,  & maybe some hairspray. Yes, you read correctly...Straws! (^.^) No curling iron, no flat iron, no heat...all natural. hehehehe. My older sister actually used this trick on her daughters hair, which is long a beautiful, and it was adorable! Cheap way to make curls...I think it's a WINNER! They really do come out beautiful. Personally, I haven't tried it yet...probably because I'll need a WHOLE BUNCH of straws for my hair, but I think it's worth trying. I'll let you know how mine turn out & feel free to let us know your results ...
