Gentlemen: Do you need help styling Men's wear????

Hello to all of our guy readers!

Happy Friday! I'm so glad to finally get this post up for you guys. We had a few bumps in the road, but we're here with another post for you guys as promised. ;)

Unfortunately, men's wear these days is a bit...what's the word...repetitive, but no worries that's why we have a few gentlemen who are willing to help or at least give you some ideas. :)

As always you know I cannot leave out my Floridians! ;) hahahaha.

*Entrance Music*

Please put your hands together for our Florida gentlemen (I just noticed they all have the same last name, but they are not all related. LOL):

Josue Rivera - This look is actually very "in style" for this fall/winter season! You could also do the patterned vest too look amazing as well & WERK it! lol. Let's give it up for Josue who was so brave to be an example for you guys! ;) Ladies, I cannot guarantee any digits...HAHAHAHAHA.

Wilo Rivera - "HOW YOU DOIN'?!" okay, lol! He did this outfit. It's your classic black and white, but with a small twist on the tie. Gentlemen, you guys can spice your suits up with the simple piece such as a STATEMENT tie, a tie that's not a solid color. Let's leave the solid colored suits for a more serious event like...a job interview for corporate America. Oh, btw...gentlemen, take note of the TAPELINE, more of you should get it groomed. ;) *hint hint* Thanks Wilo for showing us how to showcase a classic suit! Ladies...*cough* get those digits! BAHAHAHA, jk. I'm teasing!

Joshua Rivera - Finally, our last RIVERA but not least! For the younger gentlemen, PLAY WITH YOUR COLORS!!! If you are young man dressing like my 60 something year old stepfather...we have a problem! Please take time to enjoy your youth, and that means allowing your wardrobe to breathe a little and shine. Live a little. Trust me, if you do it RIGHT, we notice. I mean...let's be real. If you do it wrong, we'll notice that as well! LOL! Just have fun with your fashion/style. ;) Thanks Joshua for always being colorfully distinct.  ;)

From the state of Texas:

Luis Isales (not pictured), but he did put two possible outfits together for you guys. Thank you Emir for giving our gentlemen some ideas, LOVE THE SHOES! ;)

Alright, now I can introduce our NYC model. You may have seen him in a previous post...Mr. Cristian Guity. ;) Not only do you get a small preview of the streets of NYC, but you could consider this your street church fashion! ;) Again, we have someone brave enough to play with their colors, that blazer is where it's at! Of course it's not a full outfit, but you get the idea. Thank you!!!

There you go guys. I hope this helps you guys with finding your own style and exploring new ones! Go have some fun with your wardrobe, because I know it's needs some TLC. hehehe. Happy Shopping and have a blessed weekend! Thank you to all of our models. we appreciate your help!!!

Love,
D

Thanksgiving: CHECK ...now, Christmas!

Hello my dear readers, I'm so sorry I've been so ghost on all of you! Huge thanks to D2 for keeping you guys updated. :D I have been crazy trying to travel for Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping for a family that my job adopted, and trying to continue planning my upcoming trip to NY...last but not least work. :/ hehehe. At any rate, I know everyone is getting ready to spend quality time with their families over the holidays as well as giving wonderful gifts from the heart. I'm more of a giver than a receiver. I love to think my heart was constructed under the blue print of the heart of Jesus...always giving out of love. I am not saying Christmas should be about gifts, but it's always nice when I can make someone else smile. Definitely take this time to appreciate your loved ones and spend the time that you've missed with them throughout the year. ...AND if you have some EXTRA time on your hands, feel free to reach out to those in real need. We are too blessed ...

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...

"Curly" Straws beautify! :)

Happy Thursday loves, I'm really exhausted today, but I thought one thing would cheer me up...BLOGGING! :) So thanks to the fabulous Divas in my life who research just as much as I do about fashion, here is another trick for your hair. Curls! These are really tight curls, but there are many other tutorials to show you how to loosen them. You will need the following items to accomplish this look: STRAWS, Bobby pins ,  & maybe some hairspray. Yes, you read correctly...Straws! (^.^) No curling iron, no flat iron, no heat...all natural. hehehehe. My older sister actually used this trick on her daughters hair, which is long a beautiful, and it was adorable! Cheap way to make curls...I think it's a WINNER! They really do come out beautiful. Personally, I haven't tried it yet...probably because I'll need a WHOLE BUNCH of straws for my hair, but I think it's worth trying. I'll let you know how mine turn out & feel free to let us know your results ...
