Traffic Sandals

Hello wonderful readers!

Great post from the other "D"! ;) I definitely need to get my workout on as well! Lol. If you're like me, you've come to a point in your life where you love the idea of a workout...but just the idea. Lol just kidding, it's always good to be healthy. I always say, you can never help others if you can't help yourself. We should all strive to be healthy! I also own puma sneakers and I wouldn't trade them for the world! ;)
At any rate, I wanted to share a store that I have learned to love from Puerto Rico. It's called Traffic and I believe they have stores in the US as well. Puerto Rico was my first encounter with this store. My first year I bought coral sneakers that flipped out at the top and are super comfy! Well, this year I went back by and fell in love with these sandals.
If you know me well, you know that I love heels, but I'm a sucker for cute sandals. I am from the south so sandals are something we use often. Hehehehe
Well, I walked into Traffic not really hoping to find something, but when I saw them, they had to come home with me. I know some people may say there is a lot going on, but that's what I love about it! It kind of describes my life...ALOT going on! Lol. They are comfortable for the most part. The only thing I didn't like about them was the loose gold chain which I can never position right and it flops around a lot. Lol Other than that small detail, it's all good! ;) ( I'm a bit OCD.)

I found the website: www.trafficshoe.com.
I didn't find my sandals on the site, but I'm sure you will find something even cuter. I strongly advise visiting these stores, because the merchandise is ALWAYS better in stores. However, I'm a HUGE online shopper as well. ;) (Shop at your own risk!)
Well have fun and thanks for reading! Feel free to comment below! Have a blessed weekend!
Love,

Thanksgiving: CHECK ...now, Christmas!

Hello my dear readers, I'm so sorry I've been so ghost on all of you! Huge thanks to D2 for keeping you guys updated. :D I have been crazy trying to travel for Thanksgiving, Christmas shopping for a family that my job adopted, and trying to continue planning my upcoming trip to NY...last but not least work. :/ hehehe. At any rate, I know everyone is getting ready to spend quality time with their families over the holidays as well as giving wonderful gifts from the heart. I'm more of a giver than a receiver. I love to think my heart was constructed under the blue print of the heart of Jesus...always giving out of love. I am not saying Christmas should be about gifts, but it's always nice when I can make someone else smile. Definitely take this time to appreciate your loved ones and spend the time that you've missed with them throughout the year. ...AND if you have some EXTRA time on your hands, feel free to reach out to those in real need. We are too blessed ...

Fast Forward to July 2018...

Hello ladies, Has it really been two years since I've blogged??? I really dropped the ball this time. In my defense, I was off social media for one of those years. You know... the whole "social-media cleanse." Which by the way would have been a total success if I hadn't become a youth leader and needed to promote events. LOL. All for the greater good tho. Wow, I don't even know where to start, so I'll start with I'M SORRY and I've missed blogging! So much has happened since my move to the Sunshine State. Here's a quick overview: 1. I was jobless for two months. 2. By God's grace, I landed a job in Flood Insurance. 3. Found a church home, became a member, and a youth leader and Sunday School teacher(obviously not right away) 5. Found the greatest and most loving church family...I wouldn't replace them for the world 4. Quit my job in Flood Insurance (long story), and started working at an Elementary School as an ESOL Paraprofess...

"Curly" Straws beautify! :)

Happy Thursday loves, I'm really exhausted today, but I thought one thing would cheer me up...BLOGGING! :) So thanks to the fabulous Divas in my life who research just as much as I do about fashion, here is another trick for your hair. Curls! These are really tight curls, but there are many other tutorials to show you how to loosen them. You will need the following items to accomplish this look: STRAWS, Bobby pins ,  & maybe some hairspray. Yes, you read correctly...Straws! (^.^) No curling iron, no flat iron, no heat...all natural. hehehehe. My older sister actually used this trick on her daughters hair, which is long a beautiful, and it was adorable! Cheap way to make curls...I think it's a WINNER! They really do come out beautiful. Personally, I haven't tried it yet...probably because I'll need a WHOLE BUNCH of straws for my hair, but I think it's worth trying. I'll let you know how mine turn out & feel free to let us know your results ...
