Inkka Shoes - Lima, Peru

Happy Monday ladies and gentlemen, I hope you are all doing well! :) I have been wanting to share a pair of sneakers that I discovered in NYC. I was out shopping with a friend, when we stumbled across Inkka sneakers. In my opinion, they were super cute, unique, and very trendy. Although I'm not a HUGE sneaker person, I will purchase a pair every now and then. I believe my attraction to these sneakers comes from traveling to Peru and Africa, which had many items with a similar pattern as these sneakers. However, the store did not have women shoes in my size with the same color as the male shoes, so I didn't purchase any this time. My friend did purchase some INKKA sneakers, and I was super jello! JK. I thought they were fabulous!!! If only they had that sneaker in stock for females, I would have totally purchased that pair as well. Here are some samples of Inkka shoes : I know they look loud in these pictures, but in person they are really adorable. Besides,...

Tick Tock...

Hola mis Amigos! Hi my friends! I hope you are all doing well today...I know I am :) So, today I would like to tell you about my new watch. It is a Tommy Hilfiger watch. It is white with some chrome around the face of the watch (aka: the dial). I'm going to be honest and say that what I really wanted was one of those watches that has a large dial with some bling on it. I specifically wanted a Fossil watch like the one below. However, in November (last year) my husband and I went shopping at the Premium Outlets (in Gaffney, SC) and when we stopped at the Tommy Hilfiger store I saw this watch. I had just finished my shopping and I was waiting for my husband. He was going all out! I never thought men could shop like that but I was soo wrong! So, I see this watch AND  finally when my husband came out of hiding from the men's section I took him to see the watch and he liked it. First thing he said was: "how much is it?" so I showed him the tag and it was $115. Bu...

TrickyDazzle...not ShoeDazzle!

Hello my wonderful readers! I'm sorry that I have been gone for sooo looong! :( It has been crazy with the "ice/snow storm" we experienced recently. Nonetheless, I'm happy we got some snow...yay! I was born in NY and I'm used to so many feet of snow but down here in SC we hardly get any snow so when I see snow I get happy :) Oh and in the middle of this "ice/snow storm" I also experienced an earthquake of 4.1 magnitude. AHHH!!! NEED I SAY MORE?!?! Told you it's been crazy ;) So, now I would like to share another interesting story. Last year I signed up for the VIP Classic with shoedazzle. Well, I really liked the fact that it was only $9.95 a month. If I didn't use the $9.95 credit for a purchase then it would still be available for me to use the following months until I used it. It was kind of a "savings" for shoes LOL! Then, shoedazzle decided they were going to add another VIP membership... VIP Elite. The charge for the VIP ...

SexyModest Boutique ... (It's not what you think.)

Beautiful Thursday my loves, As promised I am catching up on all of the posts that I've wanted to post for like a month now. lol. I will be heading to Florida this weekend, so I may not be able to post over the weekend. :/ At any rate, I'm here now! :) So I was looking around for more sites to recommend that has modest clothing. As much as I love Charlotte Russe, Forever 21, H&M, etc, there are other smaller boutiques with amazing clothing. My sister sent me a pin on pinterest with a modest trick for short dresses, and that's how I stumbled across this website SexyModest Boutique . When I saw the name I was kind of like O.o, but I gave it the benefit of a doubt & I was pleasantly satisfied. They have GREAT options for modest clothing! I've seen many smaller boutique website, and I can't really say they were GREAT. However, I LOVE this boutique. The clothes isn't as inexpensive as Forever21 or Charlotte Russe, but I do think it's worth an inve...

NYC Fashion vs. "Southern" Fashion: Point of View

Awwwww my lovely readers, We are so sorry! We dropped the ball...I admit. lol. However, we've returned with new goals to keep posting as often as possible. I've been traveling, working out, and out of electricity with the ICE storm in SOUTH CAROLINA (who would have thought). Yes, our weather has been so crazy. At any rate, I was able to travel to the wonderful NYC beauty in January!!! (I can't tell you guys why yet, but I will soon!) ;) One of my lovely friends decided to take me shopping while I was there and I went to TONS of stores, but found nothing of interest (that day... hehehe). My goal was a pair of heels or a "tribal" pattern skirt, which I've been dying to find, but I realized the shoes/heels were SOOOO different. My friend and I had an interesting conversation about the huge different point of views of fashion. Interestingly, women and men in the SOUTH see fashion as the "Runway" styles, whereas women and men up NORTH see f...

Bow Ties vs Ties

Hello to all of my amazing gentlemen!! As promised, I am making this post for you guys. ;) Based on our feedback, the topic for today was requested by our male readers! Thank you guys for being so faithful to our blog and showing your interest for more fashion tips.  Someone mentioned that I tend to use pictures of "model" males and females, and it felt unrealistic. So...I had a few guys who were willing to be our "real" life models. They come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and ethnic backgrounds. ;) Special shout out to each of them.  Ok... BOW TIES VS. TIES . What's the difference??????? When should you wear one???? How do you wear either one of them???? No worries gentlemen! We're here to help. ;)  Beside the obvious reason of difference in style, the Bow Tie has a long reputation of being classy, authoritative, and extremely formal. They have also been very popular for the southern preppy style. For example, bow ties are highly reco...

New Store from CALI ;D

Hello my wonderful ladies and gents! I've missed you guys so much, and I couldn't wait to get back to blogging. So, I was on Facebook today and I was scrolling through my news feed, when I saw this ad for a store called 1015store . Usually, I keep scrolling, because I don't like to click on those stores that aren't in the U.S. but everything looks great. However, this time was different, and I went to their page. Once I realized where the store was located and what it had to offer, I was glad that I took just a few (ok, maybe more than a few) minutes to take a look at their products. ANOTHER CLOTHING STORE FOR WOMEN ! (sorry, guys...) The store is located in California, so that was a plus for me. I like U.S. based stores, and a few outside stores that have tons of good reviews likes ASOS. It's called 1015 Store. Below are a few pieces from their site. BTW, it's a little confusing at first, but simply click "Shop" and it will give you more option...
